i got it!! (and i embarassed myself a little)

after about a week of stalking my email on my iphone every 10 minutes... occasionally being disappointed by disney destinations sending me photo pass offers (we just got back)---- i got it!! the 20/30/40 for most of 2010!! we want to go in may... and i already have ADRs and everything!!

as i nearly jumped out of my chair... i let out a yelp and a OMG yes!! meanwhile, the president of the company enters the lobby from behind me and asks me if i'm okay i kinda turned purple--but i was so excited i had this odd grin on my face when i said i was sorry and just sat back down and slouched at my pc. then i was still so excited when the phone rang i kinda choked back a random giggle when i greeted the caller, lol--i just can't help it!! within 30 seconds... i was looking at all the resorts i normally couldnt afford without eating ramen for 6 months and smiling ear to ear ahhhh friday pixie dust!!

Congratulations! Isn't it an amazing feeling? I inadvertently let out a yelp when I read the PIN email at work. My colleagues had to come by my office to see what that was all about. Then I had to email my husband, my sister, and my mom. We'd been trying to plan a big family trip for 10 of us, but it was looking like it wasn't going to happen (I am a deluxe snob, and the AAA rates were running way to high). Then the PIN came! Woo hoo! The big family trip is ON! Enjoy the weekend--if you're like me, you won't be able to wipe the smile off my face for a long while...

Thanks to all who continued encouraging us to not give up. Your tips made it all happen! It WORKED!!! All the pixie dust people sent our way made it happen. We'll be able to go now! DH and I can't believe it! We're in shock.

I almost deleted my PIN! It wasn't until I read the details that it became clear it was an actual PIN with the 20%, 30%, 40% discount.

I JUST got a pin that went to an OLD email address (I hardly use it except for Itunes) anyhoo, I wanted to get that song, Fireflies...
which meant I had to update my account and I had to get into the old email account. I really do not look in there and do not use that account much at all...
WELL.........

There was a PIN from Disney dated 10/16 it runs thru 6/10 and is 30%, 35% and 40%, must be booked by 2/24.
I already looked up POR, WL and Contemp...as we were supposed to be going in Oct (our anniversary) then SIL decided on a destination wedding...so out went Oct and we moved our vacation to Aug instead with her quick wedding weekend trip (FLA, mind you, in June) ....then we get the PIN, which is not for AUGUST
SO, I decided to look at MAY instead....and POR and WL are BOTH avail....so now decision time.....thinking a quicker trip. maybe only 5 days over the break kids have....DS said POR, DH looked at me like I was crazy and said he is "so not into this right now" He truly could care less if we go back...we talked about the August trip being for 2 weeks and Disney part being 5 or so with other stops thru out fla...now if I do MAY, I would CANCEL the August... but he is so DIS-interested that my head is spinning....I think I will "deposit MAY" cause it is just TOO good to pass up.....and I am so darn addicted I'd go now if I could
The dh goes cause I LOVE it All I know is...I am losing out on my Oct Anniv. trip, losing out on my August trip and EXCITED cause I got a PIN, but somehow I feel Disappointed .............sorry for vent...............I really need to think this thru, I guess..............This extra June trip has really thrown a wrench into plans for me........but I am thrilled for her and we have to go/wedding and would not want to miss it... If it's any consolation, I have gone in May and August and I will take May any day of the week and twice on Sunday!!!! The weather is WAY better and the crowds are light. Good luck with your choice!

^^^^ Thank you!!! We're off to planning now. The tough part is ahead of us. Deciding which resort to pick is going to be a full time job! We're considering values and moderates this time around. But we'll have to play with numbers. DH is saying to look at prices of deluxe too. I'm in shock! But I guess since the PIN gives the higher discount for deluxe, it makes sense. Regardless where we end up, we're thrilled! The kiddos will be soooooooooooooo happy. I wish for everyone here to get this PIN so they too can start planning their vacations. Pixie dust for everyone!
