I got BWV at 7 mos -- where to request? Anybody have pics of Village Green Views??

The pizza window also does refills. And there is just coffee at Boardwalk Joe's.

In September we stayed in a Studio and landed 5th floor Village Green - we hadn't even put in any requests. We LOVED this location and view - it literally made me tear up when I first saw it-soooooo beautiful. It was close to the elevators, the lobby, the buses, the pools. Excellent stay!

Looks like this post fell through the cracks. Standard Views are primarily the entry drive and the end of the building near the tennis courts/parking lot.

Here's a visual on the various room views at BWV:

Thanks for this diagram. I actually booked 8 nights at BWV in a garden/preferred view yesterday for January. We were supposed to do VGC but chickened out. Didn't think our little ones could handle the cross country flight. So we're back to WDW! I was surprised to get into BWV 85 days out. Almost everything else was booked for a 1 bedroom for the week of Jan 23-31. At any rate, we have never stayed at BWV before and I was wondering where, if at all to request a room. I have mixed feelings about room requests. Sometimes, I think if you have all sorts of requests, they put you somewhere the exact opposite. Sometimes, I think it's best to just let the cards fall where they may. But that Village Green locale looks spectacular. I would hate to request it and then be disappointed.
I do like being on a higher floor, so maybe I'll just request that. It looks like all the pool/garden views are pretty nice. I'm just happy to be there! Was also able to book all my dining yesterday, even scored Le Cellier! Pixies might be on our side this trip!pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

It sounds like you may have booked a 1 bedroom. Village Green view is only studios, so requesting higher floor is a better plan.

I think you need to keep your expectations realistic - it doesn't hurt to ask - but in ten years of BWV stays, we've never had a view request met. If I ask for top floor, I discover how easy it is to walk out to the pool. If I want to be close to the elevator, I discover how peaceful the end of the hall is.
