I am happy to get BWV at 7 mos, unfortunately not all 4 days was avail with a boardwalk view :sad1: so I booked pool/garden with a waitlist for boardwalk view up to 7 days before since there's no point differential.... now my question to all of you is what requests, if any should I put in for the pool/garden view reservation? :confused3:confused3 I have never even visited BW before so I literally would just be taking a stab in the dark with a request though my hubby asked "Can we request an 'It' view?" :lmao::lmao:

Not that it so much matters but we booked a studio. :)

EDIT: I've requested Village Green :)

We recently had our first stay at BWV. We were in villa #5095, which is a dedicated one-bedroom, preferred garden/pool view. It is located on the fifth (top) floor at the end of what I call the middle wing. It has a great view of the quiet pool and Community Hall, and we could see the Tower of Terror at DHS and the waterway that connects DHS with Epcot. Although it is at the end of the hallway, we didn't think the walk from the elevator was that bad. A stairwell was next to our villa and it takes you directly out to the walkway to DHS and very near the quiet pool and the main Luna pool.

Here is our view from the balcony:

Since BWV #5095 is at the end of the hallway, we had an extra window in our living room. We could see the Swan and Dolphin Hotels on the other side of the waterway:

And here is a photo of the TOT from our balcony. We could see the Fantasmic Fireworks from our balcony:

Hope this helps!

We also booked BWV for the first time for this coming April. I'm also curious to see where people say are good room locations. We will have a standard view though not a preferred. Can anyone tell me where the refill cup stations are? Most likely we'll wanna be close to those lol.

Actually it does matter. There are several studios with a view of the Village Green, which is the lawn between the Inn and the Villas on the boardwalk side. They have a partial boardwalk view. The preferred pool/garden views in this area are only studios.

Oh! awesome :) I guess Villiage Green, High Floor would be the best?

Does anybody have photos of this area? :)

iam sorry you didn't get BWView....Iam going to try to get BWView 1 bed at 7 months for next summer and I will be gutted if I don't get it..:sad2:

The only reason we want to try BWV is for the view,,,and Iam not normally a view person but I dream of early morning coffee on my balcony overlooking the boardwalk.

Please tell us if your waitlist comes through!...I think it might very soon as there is a lot of swapping going on at 7 months. Fingers crossed.:)

I emailed in a request as I've been too busy to call asking for 1) Village Green
2) High Floor

:banana::banana:

Dh and I stayed in a village green studio a couple years back and actually liked the view better than our 2bd BW view we had this past spring. It was quieter even though we were on the same floor each time, (5th). I loved looking out and seeing Spaceship Earth each morning. I have pictures on my other computer and will try to post when I get home.
Good luck. We love BWV. I'm just bummed dh wants to stay somewhere else on our trip next fall.

Here is our 2bd BW view in April for comparison.

The other nice thing about the village green view is that you will be close to the elevators.

And for fun, this was early one morning. Thankfully, it cleared up quickly.

We stayed in a Village Green room in May and LOVED it, so convenient and very close to the elevators.
I thought the location was actually better than Boardwalk View, less noise and we had a pretty big balcony. We could see Epcot adn some of the fireworks. You will love it!

Looks like this post fell through the cracks. Standard Views are primarily the entry drive and the end of the building near the tennis courts/parking lot.

Here's a visual on the various room views at BWV:

Here ya go:

It's my favorite view in WDW.

We stayed at BWV a few years ago and were surprised to score a pool/garden view at just a few months out. Our view was very similar to this and we loved it. I still remember the room number was 5055. So we had a top floor and had a nice view or Spaceship Earth. And we still got to see a lot going on along the Boardwalk.

There's another thread - couldn't have been more than 5-6 days ago where a some of us posted Village Green photos - just check a few pages back and you should find it.

Hmm I did a search with no luck, guess I'll need to manually go through....

Someone mentioned the drink refill stations. We have a standard view booked for March. Where are the drink refill stations? Will we be anywhere near one?

Love that map with the color coded halls! :thumbsup2

I think that was me that asked lol. I'm still wondering where they are lol. :confused3

Drink refills are not convenient at BWV. You can use the Luna pool bar, or the Boardwalk Bakery. At the bakery, they always fill a paper cup for you, and then you can pour that into the refillable mug.
