I went and took pictures of our TT for someone who showed interest in our TT. I can't believe how sentimental I was for the silly thing. I went in, and got all sad about putting it up for sale. I guess it is all the good memories.

I had a brief moment last night where I told my DH all the different ways we could make the TT work. I ended it with, "you know what the best thing about it is....It is paid for!" He smiled and said, yes, but a new one will allow us to make some really good memories, then he said, and less arguments! LOL! Got to love that man!

So, the sentimental value will stay, but onward with the camper search.

When sold our old trailer or any of our trucks my DW always gets said. But she is all smiles when the new one comes. When you look for a new trailer don't forget to look at toy haulers. You may not have a golf cart now but with enough trips to the fort you will want one and if your trailer could already haul it you would already be that much ahead.

Is it possible to get a toy hauler that is a TT? I hate to sound so dense, but I really don't know. My brother's toy hauler is a 5th wheel. Also, do you know if it is possible to get a toy hauler and a bunkhouse in one? HA!!! Probably, if I want to sleep on a bunk!

I'm glad I'm not alone in getting sad. All I can think about is my ODD poking her head out of the curtain of her bunk when she was 2 year old, so freaking cute!!!!!!!! :sad2:

There are alot of TT toy haulers from small to large or light to heavy. Ours is 36' long and weighs 12000lb's loaded. But I have seen them as small 12' and 2500lb's.

I always get that way, too, when I'm parting with an "old friend." DH doesn't get it at all!

The toy haulers are interesting, I am going to have to check those out! Thank you for the links!

I love the Grey Wolf, that is the floor plan we are hoping for. So, you can't fit a golf cart in the side?

If the cart is not lifted and as long as the floor board for the rear seat will flip up or can be removed then it could fit. Stacktester has a side load toy hauler and his cart fit inside no problem until he lifted it. There are many different brands of toy haulers with all types of floor plans. Just start searching the net. Make a list of your wants and what you must have and go from there. No trailer is perfect you will think it is when you buy it but after you use it a couple of times you will wish you could change something. I ordered mine the way we wanted it and now there are things that I forgot about when ordering. But the main thing ours had to do was hold 2 golf carts in side and have a private bedroom and the wolfpack 30 wp was the only one I could find at the time that did that.

So how much does a golf cart weigh?

I really love that Grey Wolf floorplan, but, I am definitely going to spend some time researching this week. I love the idea of that storage, even if it isn't for a golf cart. Thank you so much for your help!

I agree with Lone-star, a toy hauler is the way to go. As stated in my other post, we just got rid of a side loading toy hauler and barley squeezed the golf cart in to the point I couldn't have a folding seat on the back. This trailer we opted for the full rear door and what a difference. I'm still a little nervous going from the outback to a fun finder, but IMHO I have yet to see a travel trailer under 30K that had fine craftsmanship and no problems. Even the top end Keystones have crooked cabinets and sloppy cuts behind the switches...lol

Gas golf cart is about 800 lb's Elec.cart is about 1200 lb's. The storage is nice we have even hauled a kayak in our trailer. Glad to help.:) I am sure you noticed but just in case you didn't on the GreyWolf when it has the outdoor kitchen(which I think is cool and wish we had) there is only one bed in the back not bunks.

Yes, I noticed about the kitchen in great sadness that I wouldn't be able to get the outdoor kitchen if I went with this model......I would love to do all the cooking outside!
