I took the plunge and went ahead and booked my ADR's for October on the DDP. I got every one that I wanted and at the time i wanted within 15 minutes. :Pinkbounc A few days I still cannot concrete down to which place to eat or lunch/dinner, so I made multiple ADR's. Don't worry I'll be cancelling them in about 1 month, so that someone else can have them before we go, I just can't pinpoint it right now.

Here's my list for 4 adults, no children, 2 of which are first timers to WDW, and the other 2 AP holders, 2 very picky meat and potatoes/pizza and hamburgers guys and 2 will try anything once gals:

Sunday: Ohana's for breakfast 8:20am
Monday: Liberty Tree for dinner (MNSSHP) 7:25pm
Tuesday: Mama Melroses lunch 1pm or dinner 6pm
Wednesday: Whispering Canyon Cafe breakfast 9am and San Angel Inn dinner 7pm
Thursday: Sci Fi lunch 1:55pm or dinner 6:25p
Friday: Garden Grill dinner 7pm or 50's Prime Time 7:05 pm
Saturday: Yachtsman 7pm

What do you think? Should I go with Garden Grill or 50's prime time on Friday, we havn't ate at either one, so I'm not too sure about them. I also was wanting to fit in a dinner at Tony's Town Square in there somewhere, but ran out of time. DFi and I will be there an extra night, so I will definately get us in at Tony's, but is thier something else I should sacrifice for Tony's one night?

Thanks

i think people should not make multiple ADRs so they can take their time to decide which one they really want, i think it is selfish and inconsiderate and would not even think of doing it. sorry

I would skipp Tony's and Garden Grill. There are so many rest. that are better.
Have fun. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

i'm sorry if you don't like it, but then i would request that you don't reply to my post. my mother always said if you can't find something nice to say don't say anything at all. your opinion of that has nothing to do with my question and i am not even going to waste my time justifying how i make my plans to you.

the title to your post says "opinions please" i gave mine.

Sunday looks good to me, you will enjoy.
Monday, it would be a better idea I think to have an earlier ADR. If the "party" is from 7-12 like the MVMCP and you don't sit down to eat til around 7:25, you will have missed at least an hour or more of the party before you are done. Most folks make their ADR for earlier,so they are ready to go at the start of the party.
Tuesdy looks great!Love Mama's-I would do lunch also-ask if Barbara is there for a server, she is incredible. Try the tirimasu for dessert.
Wednesday should be fun, not two of my favorites, but others love them
Thursday I would probably go with Sci Fi at lunch then you are free to enjoy your afternoon and see shows and catch Fantasmic
Friday-tough choice=depends on the menu you like the most, have heard good things about GG food, but 50's can be a blast
SAT-Might not be my first choice for a steak- we like LeCellier=Canada, but I know alot of people swear by it
Hope this helps. Have fun.

Firstly, I'd like to say... I think your choices are good. I, myself have a problem with WCC. I think it's much overrated and we had a bad experience there to boot... I too would go to LeCellier over Yachtsman's... A friend of ours said the steaks are much better at LeCellier for the "price"/TS...
I think 50's PT is more fun than GG. BUT you'll find all kinds of reviews about every place... You have to look at the menu and decide for yourself. I also ask for opinions AND I give them.... But I decided to keep a couple of reservations that had more bad than good reviews and my family and I had great times at a couple of those places....

As for the double booking of ADR's... I think there is more of a problem at the more popular places where people double book and then that means someone else can't get in....It really isn't fair to others...Especially now with the Dining Plan. It's harder to get an ADR to begin with and even more so when plenty of people double/triple book. When I was on a meal plan and called for reservations... The CM actually encouraged me to double book :confused3 :sad2: ... I came onto a forum... don't remember if it was here or another forum ...asking for which place to go to... I was told how/why it was unfair... And like others... I didn't think... UNTIL... someone enlightened me about how unfair/not right it is to double book. Needless to say... I don't do it anymore and I DO let others know my changed opinion about the double booking thing also... Maybe they'll think about it and do what's right also...

I don't see anything wrong with making multiple ressies if you cancel the extra one fairly quickly. I love Garden Grill!!! The food is fantastic and the character interaction is the best at WDW. It is a never miss for us.

I agree. I will likely be booking lunches AND dinners for my upcomming vaca. And a month before my trip comes, I will be able to tell if my dd who will be 2, will be able to make it through a 5pmish ADR. If not we will stick to lunches. If I waited until a month out to book, for 5pm ADRs (not before 430 or after 515) I think I would have been stuck with alot of extra CS, and a total waste of the DDP :confused3

I agree with LVSWL, DO NOT keep the ADR for LTT @ 7:25 during MNSSHP. You will miss too much fun, party time. If you can, book dinner in MK or at a monorail resort for 4:30 or 5:00 ish. Perhaps this day could be a TS lunch day...??? Good luck deciding.

As for the critics out there, ignore them. Do what you believe is right. Lately I've seen a dramatic increase in judgements NOT opinions here.
