I Got A Postcard

I got my postcard by requesting a disney planning dvd. It showed up in my email right after I submited my request.

I, too, requested the planning video late this past spring and then got a postcard in the mail about 2 - 3 months later. I'm positive this how I got on the list because I haven't been to Disney in 6 years (!) and I have moved around a bit in the past few years.

So send for those planning videos, and hopefully pixie dust will shower down upon your mailboxes!

I received one in the mail this afternoon addressed to my MOM but with my address on it. Funny cause we booked our trip for this December back in July. I called CRO to see if I could apply this postcard to MY reservation and they said sure as long as it was my address that it came to. Unfortunately only half of my vacation was available I guess its just like using the BAT or EWP there are only certain rooms available. So all in all I saved $200 with the postcard and the other 4 nights are in AAA discount. The postcard said Value $49 per night but I was able to apply it to my POly ressie...yippee!

My partner got one too a couple of weeks ago. Moderates at $79. We were already booked at that rate. It was still exciting to get one of the fabled postcards though. It seems they are pretty much AP rates but without the (book by) expiration on it.

We have gotten three postcards in the last month (for the values at $49) - two for our exchange student from Hungary who hasn't been with us for over a year, and one for my father's girlfriend who went with us once about 5 years ago. How weird is that! Unfortunately, I cannot use them, since I am traveling to WDW in early Jan and these end in Dec.

Still hoping for a code (or a postcars for ME for JAN!)
