This is for the new Homewood Suites by Hilton at Lake Buena Vista. I got a great rate for my upcoming trip for June at the Homewood Suites Lake Buena Vista - apparently it is a relatively new hotel. It offers a full breakfast each morning and some "light" evening meals (think Staybridge Suites) some nights of the week. The one-bedroom suite has a kitchen, 2 queens in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room.

For 3 adults (two daughters and myself) I am paying only $95.00 plus tax per night for the week we are going in June - parking is free at the hotel as well.

I realize that it's not in a developed area (it is apparently the first hotel to open in this particular area) but it appears to be within 10 or 15 minutes drive of Disney!

Just had to share - my husband is a financially minded fellow and he told me I would be saving about $50.00 per day in meals alone, so that means that the room's true cost is about the same price as the Super 8 in Kissimmee! Merry Christmas to me!!!

Congrats on the find. I stayed in a Homewood Suites in Seattle and it was very nice. Good breakfast, and evening managers reception had free wine and beer, and the "snack" was more like a meal, salad, rolls, and that night it was a pasta/chicken casserole.
But don't forget to add the cost of car rental and parking in WDW into the equation.

Thanks for the tip about the rental and parking (although by June, I hope to be using my AP)! I usually drive but this time I will likely fly from Minneapolis and have to add the rental car.

We are staying there Dec 22-Jan 8. We got two one bedroom suites, 4 adults per room (kids are all now adults) and we are paying $99. per night. We originally booked at $144. then it was $129 , then $109 and then $99. It is now much higher and all our nights are not available. It looks really nice and it is new!! I will post a review when I get back.

I do know that some people have paid as little as $69 per night. Watch the Hilton website regularly and if your rate goes down phone and they will lower it.

Linda

Thanks for the tip about the rates - when I go in January, I'm going to drop by the hotel and take a look as well (step-daughter and I are staying at a DTD hotel).

AND I am going to upgrade my 6-day ticket to my first Annual Pass when I go in January - yahoo!!! :cool1: so my parking will be free.
