He wore one of the long-hair wigs from Rock 'n Roller coaster and an embroidered denim shirt from about 1970 that belonged to his dad. He even had a vintage peace sign button.
Where's the cross-eyed smilie...it's too late and I misread that one.
They could never replicate Simba's beauty in costume form though, but I guess...a reasonable facsimile would merit the tartar control treats.
Kids have lots of tartar.
DH gave about half our bowl to the older teens who knocked after Survivor and after the lights were out. Two came to the door with 4 pillowcases, saying the other two were in the car. I was in the family room. All I could hear was my 8yo DS ranting and raving to these teens: " You're trick-or-treating?! It's pretty late to be trick-or-treating. I get to stay up pretty late sometimes, but it's pretty late to be trick-or-treating... yadda,yadda,yadda..."
Since we got very few trick or treaters DH gave out clumps of candy like you wouldn't believe. Boy did the kids who came to our door LOVE us. We had the YC Trick or Treat burning in my "Face planter" (lovingly called Mo Fo...it's a big planter with a tiki like face), had 4 ceramic pumpkins burning just inside (Chocolate truffle...yummmm), a spooky witch hanging by the window and the Haunted Mansion soundtrack playing inside. Like I said, the few who made it were really impressed (and happy withall the candy they got!).
