Some time ago I posted looking for recommendations for a stroller for my 40 pound 3 year old. I noticed that most strollers are not recommended for over 40 lbs.

Unfortunately pickings are slim. I got many many recommendations fro the Maclaren. Which costs about $139.99. After some disappointment with my Peg Perego, I'm a bit gun shy when it comes to pricy strollers.

Today I took my son to BRU and we tried some out. I thought that I was going to have to get the Maclaren after trying the comparable Chicco.

Then I found the Baby Trend - Euro trend Sport....

(insert harp music here)

Now it also is not recommended for kids over 40 lbs, but it felt pretty sturdy. What I liked about it is that it had high handles, nice for me, I'm 5'8" (5'9" on a good day). And it had a nice basket that you can reach into from behind vs. just underneath.

Now, it does not open and close as nicly as the maclaren, but it was only $69.99. 1/2 the cost of the Macclaren.

I will run it through the WDW test next week and report back on it's performance.

and will take them with me to WDW in November with my two (they are 5 & 3 and will be 5 3/4 & 3 3/4 by the time we go).

LOVE THIS STROLLER--Its so much like the Maclaren, and 1/2 the cost!

Hope it does great for you at WDW..we took it mall shopping this weekend and it was PERFECT for both.

Just a note--I "test drove it" with my daughter on my son's lap while at BRU...and it still pushed like a charm!

Good luck with your trip!
