This is the reason we don't adopt from a shelter. Too many strays on the street!!! I have a dog and 2 cats that we've gotten this way. I'd have kept him too. He's a sweetheart. Congrats!!!!

Cuteness alert! Awww, you melted my heart.

He/she looks to be about 8-10 weeks old. Get him to the vet soon so you can treat him for worms. Most feral kittens are born with worms. If you don't treat it, the worms will eat him inside out.

We adopted a couple of older kittens over the winter. Two sisters, mostly white with color points. They have become the sweetest little lap kitties and are constant playmates. I hate to leave them on our upcoming Disney trip.

As for being a stray, he may not be...He was extremely clean, and well fed...just minor dirt from being in the bushes....and there also was a crushed box a short distance away that had a blanket in it...I think he was dumped..poor thing...

Oh, I hope the people/person who dumped him and his litter mate get exactly what's coming to them. How horrible to do something like that!!!

I'm so glad you have a soft heart, and gave him a new loving home. Gotta say though, not crazy about the name Booger. I like what another poster suggested, the road related name like Curby.

OMG, how cute. I was attacked by a siamese cat when I was 4, so can't help keeping my distance from them IRL, but the pic is ADORABLE!

I will agree with pp, get him to a vet soon. Kittens usually contract worms from their mothers, so need the de-worming process.

For a name, I say something about how he was found. Like the dog on Hart to Hart (mom used to watch it), named "Freeway." And beware when choosing a "personality" kind of name. We named our most recent find "Slinky Malinky" and she is DEFINITELY living up to it. LOL.
