My mom just called to say Happy Birthday (it was yesterday) and I had forgotten it. I had received cards and gifts earlier this month and with so much going on lately (DH is deploying, DD(6mos) had pnemonia the past two weeks, and our trip to FL for the summer) I hadn't thought about it. Geez, I remember when I was a kid (I just turned 25) I counted down the days and hours, but now it is just another day to me. My mom said she's been trying to call me the past 2 days to say Happy Birthday, but I went shopping yesterday and today a friend had a BBQ. Oh well, when DH wakes up I am asking him how dare he forget my birthday! ;)

:cake:Happy Birthday to you!!!!! :bday:

I'd like to say I could do this but the truth is I never could forget my birthday. I secretely look forward to it every year.

A belated happy birthday to you!

I would like to forget my next one. I'm getting a little too close to 50 for comfort.

No more birthdays for me. I'm only having 'gift days' from now on! :teeth:

:thewave: :bday:

I usually just forget how old I am, or how many years I've been married.

Mine is on Labor Day this year, so I don't have to use a vacation day. (I refuse to work on my birthday)-way to depressing to sit in an office and work.
