And gave it to him tonight. He had to go help his dad get a new computer put together this evening, so I took the opportunity to finish setting up his tree and had it waiting for him in place when he got home.
He walked past it twice before realizing it was there, but when he did, I got the reaction that I was hoping for.
First surprise, then he really liked it. So it was worth the time and effort to get it put together for him.
