I have been planning my Labor Day weekend trip to USF/IOA since April and I keep reading on these boards that the Express Pass from staying onsite is the ONLY way to go.

Well, I just joined AAA and found out that I can get a room at RPR for $228.20 + tax (which brings it to $250) that will get the 5 of us the express passes for both days we are there, so I pulled the trigger and reserved a night.

I really can't justify a second night at RPH for $250 a night when I have a $70 rate offsite. That $180 would buy us a good meal and some souvenirs.

I am SO excited that we will have Express Passes now!pixiedust:

have a great time and be sure to let us know what you think!!!

Rats, I booked one night but could not get a AAA rate to come up. I got Portofino at about $450 plus my 4 tickets plus tax.

How did you get the AAA rate?

call an AAA office is how you can find their rates.

then book the room yourself.

or call UOR and the will tell you the AAA rate per date.

You can't book the AAA rate online through the Loews or Universal website. You have to call them.

You should be able to book online through AAA, though. However, people have reported getting lower rates by calling online than through the AAA website. Since the call is toll free, I'd try checking out both.
