I took a year to make sure i wanted it,monday the 19th i took my son for his 18th birthday present (a tatoo) and i booked mine too!!!!.I had a artist friend draw tinkerbell sitting crossed legged
arms crossed with a little pout or attitude i like to think, we changed the slippers to black heels just to make it more personal!
i found this design on a mug i bought a few trips ago and just loved it.
I have never had a tatoo i knew i wanted this bad so i showed up last monday a little scared but i showed up! i made it threw 3-4 hours, it hurt at times and other times the sound put me in a sleep state.I did it and i love it she is big 6 inches long and about 5 inches across full color (no little butterfly for me this baby is a official tatoo!!!!).i will try to put a photo on when i get it.i also cant wait to show it off on my disney trip in 3 weeks.

Good for you for doing somehting you always wanted.:)

Very cool! Ive always wanted one, but never got around to it, and now I think Im too old. Maybe igs not too late.
Congratulations!

Welcome to the world of "ink"! So...what's next? Usually I haven't even left the chair and I'm already thinking of the next one (which I think will be Flounder). That's what they call "the itch". Your Tink sounds about 50% bigger than mine...where'd you get it? Mine is on my ankle. Be sure to post that pic!!

CamColt...it's never too late!!

Congrats on your new tattoo! Where is it?? I can't wait to see it, I have been thinking about a Tinkerbell tattoo for some time now. I looked all over the internet for a picture I like-yours sounds wonderful. I got a purple lizard with green eyes put on my ankle two years ago. I just love him!! It hurt like a mother, though. It took the artist about an hour to do it-it's about 1-1/2 inches across. I'm ready for another one.

I'm 46. Why would you think you are too old to do something fun like this, CamColt? I would think that someone could definitely be too young, but not too old!!??

DH got one at the same time, a pair of lipstick red lips right on his right cheek. And I'm not talking about his face! He was 48 at the time..;)

Sorry i got so excited i forgot to tell where it is.My upper left shoulder,if i wear a spagetti strap you can see it all its toward the center of my back more than the edge of my shoulder.i can only see one wing but i like it that way.I dont feel as if i want anymore of them,i love tatoos and checking out others. one is plenty for me, besides my children i couldnt think of anything more meaningful to me (oh god i picked tink over my own children).
by the way my son a die hard baseball/sox fan got a B in celtic
block black and gray shading on the side of his calf it looks so good and very fitting for him.

Way cool! I don't think you are too "old". After all you are only as old as you feel and I am way young at heart. In my mid 30's I decided that I wanted extrea piercings and ended up with 5 in 1 ear (1 for each cherub) and then 2 in the other (1 for DH & I). DH never said no or he didn't like it, even though in the past some not so nice comments had been made about his sister having here ears pierced several times! Of course who has put the diamonds in my ears.....DH of course! He loves them now and proudly shows off each cherubs spot and earing!:p
