Okay, so this morning I had time to kill before a follow up doctor's appt. so I decide to finally go to Home Depot to see about my LGMMPC and there they are, just as bright as bright can be Well, right there behind the counter was the paint girl just watching me so I am casually checking out the paint chips and I grabbed a few of the green ones and then I grabbed a few other colors and I could tell she was looking at my like I was nuts with the color combos that I had in my hand. So I just stuck the ones I had in my hand in my purse and I continued to look. She walked away for a few seconds and I grabbed a few more and took off But that was over an hour ago and I still feel so guilty like I did something illegal!! But there is no way I am going to Disney in Jan. being part of the DISboards and have no way of showing that off to everyone!! Now I just need to figure out what to do with them

We ( DH, DS and myself) are going to HD tonight to get our LGMHPCs. I'm very excited and nervous, been thinking about it all day at work. DH thinks I'm crazy but DS thinks its cool. If I chicken out I know he can get them for me.

The first time I liberated some LGMHPC's from HD, my DD10 asked when we were going to pay for them. I had to explain that we were allowed to take the paint chips for free, after all, this is how people decide what colors they want to paint their walls.

I bought laminte pouches for business card. They fit in them nicely. I put 2 together, so there is green on both sides. I used a hot iron with a towel over it and it sealed them really well. I got about 10 tonight. We go in 29 days. I am going to hand them out to other disers. It should be fun.

Our local HD manager told me just this weekend, that if they continue to see a larger amount of lime green samples taken and no match in sales in the paint they are considering dropping the color.

yes they are samples and they are there to be taken but when you go in to purchase paint, do you truly take more than one of each color.

Well, I was being sarcastic when I said that b/c I have of course never stolen a thing in my life and I just felt like I was stealing b/c I knew I was not going to paint any room that color that I was just taking them for personal use!!
