Just got back from Disney Cruise and WDW. Shot around 3000 pictures in 6 days. Our last day we did the sunrise safari at AK. If you ever get to do it, do it!!!!

Well the day before, I had been playing with taking images of lobby of AKL with tripod and bracketing exposures to try HDR. We will see how well I do. If you have ever been on a cruise you know how tiring it can be.

I almost always rest my camera to a basic set of settings so I will be ready for the next day. THE ONE THING I FORGOT was to turn off bracketing. So all my pictures of the safari are bracketed! And not of the same images. I do not chimp much while I am shooting so did not pay attention. At least in shooting in raw I can fix them, but boy did I feel stupid!

Remember class, ALWAYS RESET YOUR CAMERA!!!!

I have done that also- my camera was set to a -0.3EV and -2 to +2 bracketing so I was getting -2.3...-1.3...-0.3...+.7...+1.7... and then of course it would start over. I was pulling my hair out for 20 minutes thinking my camera was having some kind of meltdown. :rolleyes1

Yeah, I think we've all done something like that.

One time i could not work out why everything was coming out almost completely white. Turns out i'd left the manual settings i'd had on while shooting on Pirates and then tried to take shots outside in the June California sunshine.

I'd changed the lens but forgot to change the settings. D'oh :rolleyes1
