Woooooo Hoooooo! I just talked to MS and booked a treehouse for next June!!!!! It will be our first time staying in one. Should I make any special requests? I would love one that feels very private on the deck......any suggestions? Did you use the jacuzzi tub or did it seem weird since its in the shower enclosure?

We'll be playing Tarzan next May for the first time. Would love to hear what others have done.

I'm planning on using the BBQ a couple of times.

Lol, had to laugh at your tag line. sounds like a really bad pickup line.

I miss getting mickey mail...like when we used to book packages and how excited I would get when the docs finally arrived! So today when I booked the treehouse I asked to get my confirmation in the regular mail. :mickeyjum

Do any of you prefer to get paper confirmations in the mail too?

Yeah, I loved getting the paper confirmation as well. I had them in a folder with all my other important trip onfo. We loved THV and I loved the jacuzzi. I know the bathroom is smaller than other masters, but I thought it was beautifully appointed. Didn't have a problem with the tub being in the shower enclosure and nothing helps aching legs like a good hot bath.:goodvibes

That's good to know! I was afraid it would get kind of gross from being next to the shower.

How was the transportation? Did you have a car?

Haha I'd say yes...but with there already being 9 of us in there...it might get a little tight. You can sit my deck though!

Sounds like a great trip! I'd love to stay at the THV, can't wait to hear all about it! :cheer2:

We loved our stay in the THV and cannot wait to stay there again. They are really awesome. We had requested a THV in front of the river but we didn't get that. We still had a great time and fell in love with them. Our DGS wanted to live there. We spent alot of time on our deck but I have to admit I was surprised by the lack of privacy the deck actually had. The surrounding THVs were quite close and their living room/dining room windows looked right out onto our deck. This was the only real negative I had and it wasn't enough to spoil our stay there. You're going to have a wonderful time. :thumbsup2

You will want to bring that Master Bathroom home with you!:worship:

You will LOVE them! Congrats!

We enjoyed our stay this past May, we did use the tub and the shower, they were both nice. We had THV 7031, and I think that was a perfect location. I requested near the south bus stop, and it was literally, walk out our sidewalk, and the parking and bus stop was right there. We wanted to stay there longer!! The busses weren't too bad, they either took you to one of 2 places, so we got on the first bus we saw. Never had any issues with busses, and I was worried about it before hand. We cooked in our THV and used the grill. It was awesome!! The deck was mostly private, we were right by the sidewalk going to the grandstand area, which wasn't very heavily used. The THV next to us was empty the whole time. We were near the quiet pool, very short walk to that area, and it was nice there too. Enjoy your stay!!

Thanks for the reviews!! Can you request close to the Grandstand? My parents will be there with their van, but there may be mornings we will want to run to the grandstand bus stop.

The internal busses either go to the Springs, or the Grandstand, it was about a 10 minute walk to the Grandstand, from where we were at. We never waited more than 5 minutes for an internal bus. I believe the first stop was the springs, and the last was the grandstand coming FROM the THV. Coming back from the park the first stop was the Grandstand. That's the main part of SSR where you catch other park busses and such. It wasn't that bad of a system.

I noticed the 2 times we stayed at SSR that always seemed to be THV buses around so that's great! We stayed in the building at the grandstand right next to the pathway for the THV. I'm thinking if you have a treehouse close to the grandstand you could skip the internal bus and just walk to the grandstand bus stop right?

Yep, there's a pathway that goes from the THV's in the south area to the Grandstand, I have been told it takes about 10 minutes, we didn't take it, we always took the bus, since they were always right there for us, and I can't walk that far :) We were right by the pathway in 7031. Very nice location!!!

How as the air conditioning in the treehouse? We will be there in June and I'm sure it'll be very hot outside.
