I knew the day would come (I'm on Induction), and thank goodness I read about it here and knew to expect it, but omg, I feel sooo horrible. I woke up not feeling "right" but went to GFS and to Sam's Club and by the time I got in the van I felt sooo awful. Sluggish, tired, shaky, light-headed, and nauseaus. Blech! :( :(
Please tell me this only lasts for a day. :(
I just want to go to bed. :(

{{{HUGS}}} I promise it will pass. YOu have to hang in there a few days and IT WILL PASS!!!!! Drink lots of water, and do not give into any temptations...just try and stay focused and think that in a few days you will feel like a new YOU!!!!

It will pass....good luck....and WATER, WATER, WATER

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie. I'm surprised that it is just now hitting you. This could be withdrawal or it could be a virus that just happened to show up while you were on induction.

My husband felt this way by the end of his first day on induction. His withdrawal symptoms lasted almost 5 days, they were gone by 8PM of the fourth day.

I know this has already been said but drink as much water as you can. That will flush out all of that glucagon your liver is releasing. As soon as it is all out of your system you will begin to feel better and pretty soon you will begin to feel great!

So hang in there, don't give up, you can do this, honest you can.

Take a couple of tylenol or ibuprophen and see if that doesn't help a little bit.

Mine showed up on the third day and it lasted 2 days. You'll get through it!!!! Don't give up! Take some Tylenol and you'll feel better. You can do it!!! You are going to feel GREAT in a few days! You'll have so much energy you won't know what to do with it! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I know it's hard to think about it when you feel so yucky but it will get better and before you know it you'll have that Atkins "BUZZ" going! This is the hardest part right now. It will all be worth it in a day or two.

HANG IN THERE- you can pull through this!!! I know it is miserable and you feel like you just want to give up sometimes... but hold on!!! You'll get through this in no time. If you want to sleep- then please- SLEEP!! It always seems to get your mind off of what the problem is and maybe when you wake up you'll feel a little better!

It will pass! It will pass!

I was so out of it (tired) after 2 days on Induction that the ladies at Curves asked me if I OK. I just thought I needed more oxygen to do the workout, LOL! In a couple of days, they were commenting on how much better I looked and how much more energetic I seemed. And I was!

That will happen to you, too! Keep up the good work and keep telling yourself - It will pass! It will pass!

It will pass- I PROMISE! Cross my heart! :)
I didn't go through all the symptoms you mentioned (and that others might have had) but I have heard of MANY going through that phase while on induction. All I had was a bit of the "tiredness" and I'm sure it was because of the caffeine I was missing from not eating chocolate like I was before Atkins- plus not having those sugar rushes to get me through the late night. It passed quickly though. I hope you get to feeling better soon! :)

Just hang in there! YOU CAN DO IT!!!! Just a few more days and like everyone said you will feel better! :) I know you can do this!!!!
