I just have to say, that I find your comment rude and offensive. Are you saying that anyone who chooses a different path from yours DON'T care about their kids, or are you saying that your rights EXCEED everyone elses?
I wasn't able to BF my girls. Neither one has had cancer, diabetes, asthma, or died. DD2 does have food allergies--she is allergic to dairy and soy. We had to get a special formula for her--it was like $45 a can. I wish I could hav BF'd her--I'd have a nice bank account!
My son BF'd for 2 short months. Again, he does not have cancer, diabetes, asthma, food allergies, and hasn't died yet.
My grandfather had a twin. She died as an infant, because she was allergic to dairy and there wasn't a formula back in 1912 to sustain babies (at least, one in the country where they lived).
One of the boys in my son's cub scout den has severe allergies to nuts, peanuts, dairy, eggs and certain fruits. He was on a special formula like my daughter, only he almost died before they figured it out.
People like the lady who threw a temper tantrum at Target because they asked her to not sit in the clothing section and BF because PEOPLE DON'T LOOK DOWN AND SHE WAS AT RISK OF GETTING HIT WITH A CART make people HATE BFers. People who preach that BFing is the only way to ensure a healthy baby and that if you don't BF, then you suck as a parent, make people HATE BFers.
So, keep your darn nose about my business about how I feed my kids, and I'll do the same. But if you open your mouth to me about my parenting, be prepared to hear it back.
