I expected some rude people, but some of this was ridiculous...

I just want to say that I am firmly supportive of breasts in public...I mean breast feeding in public.

However, if I am staring, please do not think me rude. I am probably just looking for hidden Mickeys.:bitelip:

Our last trip was in October and we met many nice people and CM's. Two negative experiences stick out:

1) a very rude CM at the front desk of POP

2) line cutter at AK. There were two registers open with one line formed. There was a few people in front of me and a few behind, when a woman with a drink barged in and went to the front. People were making remarks in line about her cutting but she was ignoring everyone. What was worse was her son was with her. He was so embarrassed and was telling his mother there was a line, she couldn't do that, etc while she was cussing under her breath. The CM did not say one word to her and served her right away.

I wouldn't say I'm against breast feeding in public but just a warning to those that do it on rides, I had a CM threaten to stop the Finding Nemo ride if I didn't give her my drink.
Just saying!

I agree with your comments here. I grew up visiting Disneyland pretty frequently and my first visit to WDW was when I was 20 years old. I completely agree with you. People ask me all the time which park I prefer, and I always say--if Disneyland had EPCOT, I would never go back to WDW. I think DL is way more intimate, and I love it there. But WDW is also cheaper, which is a dealbreaker for me most of the time.

I went to DLR in November. Its definitely more intimate! I went to WDW 5 times before DLR and so many people told me I would hate it there because of the size, but it was so charming and beautiful! PLUS, Walt build it, so it felt more special! (Only had one awkwardly rude encounter. It was during the parade and I never watch parades because of this...but It was the Christmas parade so I just HAD to watch it! heh!)

How what works for me? Do stopped cars run into you there?

Groking through it, I think they mean to say that you will be found at fault if your vehicle came to a stop while in traffic in that scenario.

I imagine it's a case of different states placing a higher priority on maintaining the flow of traffic as opposed to maintaining control of your vehicular speed.

Thank you ~ I finally got a good giggle, after 18 pages, no less!

I started reading this thread, thinking it would be helpful during my next trip, which is in 1 week.:cool1: DBIL, DSIL, DNephew's first trip & I want to help make it very magical by avoiding some of the annoyances.

This thread doesn't feel very DIS-ish. It feels more like a Yahoo Coment Thread. Just as in the parks, I remember a day (not too long ago) when this kind of venom was not spouted here. It's really a shame...the rudeness displayed in a thread about rudeness in the parks. How ironic...:confused3

So, there were two registers but only one line? If this was a counter service in AK shouldn't there be 4 lines, two for each cashier? If that was the case, and the guest chose the empty side with no line, she was an experienced guest. It is Disney procedure to have guests queue up on both sides, and the CM alternates from side to side. I did the exact same thing one time in Auntie Gravity's. There was one long line on one side and one side empty. It should be the CM's responsibility to inform the guests, not mine. Lesson learned? If you see an empty line, jump in it. Most repeat visitors are aware of the procedure.

All I know is this thread has "mermaid fetish" and women fighting over breasts. You could easily be charging admission for this stuff.

As some posters have not been able to debate topics without resorting to fighting this topic and thread are now closed,
