I don't want to eat lunch at Be Our Guest, but having trouble removing myself from reservation

I am in charge of making all the dining reservations for our trip of 5 adults.

Two of us really don't want to eat at BOG again for lunch, but when I try to remove us from the reservation, it won't let me because it's using my credit card for the ADR.

If I leave the two of us on there but we don't show, it won't use up my quick service credit will it? Also, as long as the others go, I won't be charged the $10 no show fee?

As long as someone shows, you won't be charged the no-show fee. They also don't "charge" anyone's dining plan until a magic band is scanned, so whoever eats there will be the one to "pay."

Thanks! So each of them will have their own quick service used as they scan their bands and mine won't be touched as I won't be eating there (but am still on reservation), right? Sorry, this place is confusing me for some reason!

Welllll, each scanning their band is a question I can't answer for sure. The website says you can't split the check if you pre-order. Most reports are that means one person has to scan and use their credits for all the meals. I have seen at least one report that said that was false, and they all scanned their individual bands. If you don't pre-order, then there's no problem and each person can order and pay when they get there.

Couldn't you just modify the number in your party to 3? Then that will free up 2 spots for someone else to use at BOG. If everyone is on the same Disney vacation reservation than all the dining credits are pooled. So the 3 at BOG will use 3 credits from your pool. So if there are 5 people on the same vacation reservation with 3 nights of staying. That's 30 snack credits. One person can go and buy 30 rice crispy treats the first day if they wanted. The credits are not tied to individuals.

The restaurant reservation is just a place holding reservation. If they don't show up, then your credit card will get charged.

Yes, it the scanning of the Magic Band that pays for it. The credit card is just holding the reservation.

You could change it to 3 instead of 5, but you will still have to be one of the 3 since it has your CC on it. If they still want to preorder, they just have to work out who pays for that meal and how the others pay them back. And as I said, one person said they had no problem using different bands, so maybe things are changing there.

are each of you in separate room? cause each room has entitlements group together even for all adults. just like parents can use kids as well as theirs if that makes sense. the room entitlements are not broken up by person but so many for group

Yes, this. If you are all in the same room, it's just going to take 3 QS credits from your entire pool of credits. It won't take individual credits away from you.
