We decided to leave EPCOT because it looked like rain.
We were wrong.
It may have looked like rain, but it acted like a MONSOON.
Talk about a wolf in sheep's clothing!
We got back to CSR and I RAN for it to our building. I didn't even have my poncho with me! I got to Jess and Nat's room first because it was closer. I went in there and made a big ol' show of myself frumpin' around all drenched.
I dried off, went up to my room, bid my family adieu and moved my suitcase downstairs! I was gonna sleepover that night! My family's plan was to just hang out at the resort until a little later when they would come to DHS.
Us Frumps got ready, enjoyed some Stacey, and headed out almost right away! The MONSOON had cleared up and we were off to Hollywood Studios!
I look a little "rained out" if you ask me.
We decided to head to one of my all-time FAVORITE rides, Tower of Terror!
I look like someone flashed me and I'm appalled or something. FAIL.
The wait was only 13 minutes, so we hopped right in line!
Nat had never been on before, so she was really scared. She HATES elevators.
Of course, I was only making things worse but talking in scary voices and freaking her out more!
I'm so mean.
BUT, we told her that if she went through with it, we'd get her a Mickey Bar as soon as it was over.
Yep.
We bribed a 17-year-old with Mickey Bars.
And it worked.
She ended up LOVING Tower of Terror (albeit that she didn't get the picture concept all that well...but it was her first time, so I guess she's off the hook) and we headed to the nearest ice cream cart so she could have herself a Mickey Bar.
She was very excited. They're her favorite dessert in Disney World!
Wait Nat! We have to take a food picture!
There we go! Whew!
Nat was so happy that she just plopped herself down in the middle of the pavement and swayed back in forth in sheer joy while she ate the whole thing.
It was all really precious.
But no resting for too long, we had characters to meet!
Almost every day at 5 pm at the Animation Building, TONS of rare and popular characters come out for meet and greets! Jess and I had heard about this from PrincessCaitlin's trip report and we couldn't WAIT to check it out!
We headed over there, and we saw all the promo posters for Winnie the Pooh and The Lion King in 3D. Jess and I had to take a picture, because we had sung Hakuna Matata at school, and I was Timon!
We headed inside and saw Pocahontas! She was with Meeko, and they were just leaving, but Mulan came out a few minutes later!
We talked about being Warriors, and she was really precious.
We saw some touches from the new Winnie the Pooh movie, like the infamous spelling of Tail.
I like their way a LOT better. Tael. It's just a lot cuter to look at.
Next, we saw that Jafar was out! He was SOOO creepy! He kept staring down at me and it was WEIRD. He was good at his part though!
We didn't linger too long with him, needless to say. It was cool to meet him though, because he's so rare to see out!
Next we found a much frumpier villain and his even frumpier sidekick!
Captain Hook and Mr. Smee! I told Captain Hook I'd say hi to Peter Pan for him, and he was NOT happy about that.
Next we saw Minnie and Pluto, and they were absolutely ADORABLE.
Minnie was scratching Pluto's tummy, and Pluto was licking our hands. It was the most precious thing EVER.
Last we saw Jasmine! Unfortunately, her man wasn't with her, but we had a nice chat anyway!
Jess told Jasmine that she was her favorite, and when Jasmine asked why, her response was: "Because I want to be you!"
................
Good reason, I know.
What a FRUMP.
We all had a great chat and we posed like princesses! Well...some of us did. Others had a little trouble with the leg extension.
*ahem* NAT *ahem*
Hehehe.
Can you tell I've been practicing though? I always tell my mom she messed up as a parent because while most teenagers are practicing their booty-shaking, I'm practicing my princess poses.
Ah well.
We said goodbye to Jasmine and went in search of some FOOD! Stay tuned!
