We had a dog once who decided that he didn't want us to go also LOL
We had some vacation money in an envelope which we were planning to convert to Traveler's Checks at AAA. The envelope was on the dresser and I was finishing up some last minute things before our trip.
When I went to grab the envelope...it wasn't there! I looked frantically but then heard a tearing sound from under the bed. I looked under and found our beloved Golden tearing the money into numerous pieces
After crying out hysterically, I grabbed the pieces and told my DH. We called the bank to see what could be done...if anything. They told us that as long as we had three corners of the bill, we could tape them and bring the bills in to the bank for exchange. The ripped bills were like puzzle pieces LOL but we were able to tape them together. We only lost a $5 bill (only found two corners of that) out of our vacation money! He probably just didn't want to go to the kennel

I have to pack relatively last minute, I take my cats to the vet for boarding, then I pack. Otherwise they get very upset when they see the suitcase.

Same with our dogs - they know something's up as soon as the suitcases come out of the closet.

I think my dog knows it as "The Go-Away Bag", and she does not like it.
