I asked this a while back. According to the responses, a Ya Ya is anyone who wants to be one. They have an ongoing thread which anyone can contribute to. They welcome new visitors with open arms. They were adamant that they are NOT a clique. Does that help?

This group took their name from "The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisters", which was a fabulous book written by Rebecca Wells, then made into a movie. Ya Yas are a group of really good friends, almost like sisters.

And while I don't participate on that thread, I do read it from time to time. A really fun group of people!

Awww... thank you for the kind words Snoopy...and please come by some time and say Hi! You too Kdibattista and grinningghost. It all started out innocently enough when jldriscoll started a simple thread asking who would get the last word... she was actually referring to something else, but several of us jumped in and turned it into a contest of sorts about who would get the last word on that particular thread. After a few days though, it turned into a meeting place.... a place to chat, check in and say Hi, laugh, cry or just get crazy. After the first thread reached the maximum pages allowed on a thread, we'd all grown so close, that we really hated to see our little YaYa world end, so when the mods. had to close us up, we decided to start another and keep going.... and going.... and going..... Feel free to jump into the fray at any time!!
