I actually liked it! Yes, Luke was a bit irritating at first, but I'm from California and only 25, .

Well, I'm only 26 and I thought he was goofy! LOL! :teeth:

I totally agree about wanting to comb and cut the kid's hair! LOL!

We haven't been to WDW yet, but we have seen the older videos. As a first timer, this video didn't pump us up! We aren't going until July 2006, so maybe they'll come out with a better one before then.

I think it is weird. Why throw all those people together?? The eating/relaxing guy is funny though (is his name Dave?) The main lady is annoying.

I don't like it at all!! There was almost no info on the resorts!! The resorts are the most important thing in planning a trip!! The older versions were better, I like the 2004 edition!! :cool1:

I got mine, I was disappointed somewhat. It has been since 2001 since I had been there so I really wanted to see what had changed. I had to watch it like 3 times and rewind things to get it all in (because it moves so fast.)
My husband found it annoying and after a few minutes refused to watch it.
For someone wanting to plan, and never been there or had not been in a while, it was not something to brag about!

I got it to help get my kids excited about going as they have never gone before. They wouldn't watch it! My boys ages range from 9, 4, and 2, and all three of them watched about the first two minutes. It was way too fast, as they wanted actually see what the rides look like. I had more reaction showing them the planning videos that are on the disney website. They really got excited watching them.

Leaving in two days....

Is thier any information on the Happiest Celebration on earth I have orderd mine but it hasnt come yet so i am curios

I really liked the last DVD, Where Magic Lives. I didn't really care for the new one.

My DD5 preferred the 1st video. But the more we watch it, the more we like the 2nd video.

I still prefer the last one, but this one has its place.

The main gal (is her name Erin?) is in the Appleby's commercial. The one where she doesn't have time to talk to the elderly lady because she is on her way to work (at Appleby's). On her way home from work she stops by the lady's house with dinner that she brought from work. My DS saw the commercial the other night and said "hey, that's that girl from the WDW travel planning DVD".

:bitelip:

I watched this year's video with my mouth hanging open. It was awful!! Not only did watching it make me dizzy, the "hosts" or whatever you wanna call them were freaking ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I felt gipped!

I must be in the minority here, but for the most part I liked the planning dvd. I liked all the extras on it like the trivia game, and seeing all the resorts. I did kind of miss it a little when they talk to the guests, that was always fun. And I don't like the ''thrill'' guy, he's a little too intense for me, but so are the thrill rides, that's probably why I didn't like him. I think the guy that goes from bench to bench is a riot.

I really loved the DVD. Dave was actually my favorite part! If I didn't have my kids that would so be me relaxing on all the park benches. He was just hilarious. I also loved Luke and Erin!

LOL so how much did it cost you?

;)
You know, I was gonna ask the same thing. Pretty sad to say you were "gipped" when it was free to begin with. *chuckles*
