I don't like the electrical water parade.

They really should partner up with someone like Govee to sponsor it... and update it. As a kid, it was really cool to see it, but that has faded over the years. But still fun to see that it's still there...

I've been going to WDW since 1976 and every time I see this parade it takes me back to my childhood while watching this with my parents, then later watching it with my new husband, then later watching it with my first DD, then later watching it with both my DDs and then finally watching it with my adult DD. I can't imagine WDW without it. I understand though that everything isn't for every body. I have my unpopular opinions too :duck:, so I get it.

Saw it for the first time in 1977, during our first trip to WDW. I still enjoy seeing it.

On a recent visit, everyone slept while I showered. I could hear the music coming closer so I rushed out, and watched from our balcony. It brings back fond memories from many years ago. It's old, but quaint. I love it. Everything else changes, but this comforts me.

I understand the noise issues if you're trying to get to sleep early, but I'm not sure they really have much of a choice--it has to be loud enough to be heard across the resort, and really has to be heard within the rooms as well. Even if someone knows about it to begin with, most people don't really know the exact time at a given resort--so it has to be loud enough for me to hear it in the room and know to go outside and watch, if I want.
