I don't like the electrical water parade.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the electrical water parade? I actually want it to go away every time it gets to Ft Wilderness or Wilderness Lodge which is where I like to be. I don't like the music at all, not so much the songs but the style and tones of how the songs are played. The stars and flags are alright, but I'm not a fan of the dragon (is that what it is?). I'm sure this an unpopular opinion but I just wondered if I am alone.

I am sure you are not alone, but we do love it. They could reduce the volume a little bit, as it’s louder than I would like, but otherwise I hope it hangs around for a while.

It’s kind of like the Main Street Electrical Parade lovers vs the Spectromagic parade lovers. Different styles and some prefer one over the other. I’m on the MSEP side in that debate.

It’s a sea serpent, not a dragon though . . .

Thanks for letting me know. Yes, it's quite loud. Since you mention that, I felt like the volume could have been reduced when I was on the Mexico ride. I've always had sensitive ears but it seems like they are playing the music much louder everywhere than in past years.

Not a fan either. It's a bit cheesy and outdated. They could do better as I remember it's been around in a similar format for quite a while. It's time for an update.

My DW hates the noise as she is usually tryong to get to sleep when it rolls by. Fortunately we now stay in room locations that are not bothered by the noise, We just stayed at BRV a few weeks ago and I sat outside Geyser Point Bar and Grill to watch it. I thinks its the first time in 45 years of going to WDW that I've actually watched the whole show. I liked it, but then again I did have a few Geysers in me!

If you're at Wilderness Lodge and you're not watching it, its so loud that it's really annoying. Like PP's DW, I was trying to sleep and was not happy about the noise.

I wish they'd find a Disney theme for it and STICK to it. Don't get me wrong- I like it, but it feels like it's just a bunch of floats stuck together for no real purpose.

You may not be alone, but you are definitely in a very small minority.

FWIW, I love it. I never tire of watching it when I stay at a resort round Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon. It's a special way to wrap up a magical day.

I've only stayed at Wilderness Lodge once. The parade came by around 9 or 9:30 if I remember correctly. It really didn't bother me. I'm not going to alter my plans to watch it, not going to complain about it either. If it floated by at like 10:30 or 11:00 it might be a different story. I view anyone who is annoyed by the parade as the same group that looks out the window all day waiting to yell at the neighborhood kids for taking one step off the sidewalk onto their lawn.

Used to watch it as a kid all the time. Now as I'm floating around the volcano pool and it passes I hear it but it doesn't bother me at all.

I love it, personally. It’s nostalgic and feels like classic WDW to me, which reminds me of my childhood. And now I also have a memory of my kids watching from our patio at Poly, all clean and in their pj’s after a full day at Disney.

I don’t hate but I don’t really like it either. It’s very dated and feels like a time warp to the 1970s. People often mention nostalgia regarding this parade because they remember it from their childhood, and I get that. The parade doesn’t really bother me but in the locations where I stay the music is not loud at all.

I think it's cool that they still have something so retro. It alwyas makes me smile when I catch it from the bus loop. I could understand the complaints that it's too loud for resort guests, so I wouldn't be opposed to turning it down a little.
