Ok so with around 5 weeks to go I thought I had better get on here and do my PTR!

I will start with the cast.....

Me (Sammie) 29 - I love all things Disney, this will be my 5 th visit to The World but my last visit was my honeymoon in 2007 so it's been a while!! I am an obsessive planner which really annoys my hubbie!

DH (Craig) 32 - He also loves Disney but not as much as me. He is scared of the flight and will only ever get on a plane for Disney! This will be his 3rd trip to The World

DS (Chester) 5 (on Monday) - Chester loves all Disney movies his favourite atm is Bolt, although this changes weekly if not daily. He has been to DLP twice but never to WDW. He thinks WDW will be exactly the same as DLP and I can not wait to show him otherwise!

DD (Millie) will be 22 months - Millie has been drip fed Disney since the day she was born haha! So she is obsessed just like me! She really loves Rapunzel who she calls Punzel and Ariel who she calls Ahhh Ahh Ah (sung)! I think it's pretty safe to say most of Millie's vocabulary is Disney related! The moment she meets Rapunzel I will cry!

DD (My Dad) 53 - he loves Disney and although he won't admit it, he is the reason I am so obsessive about planning! I learnt it from him! He has been to WDW 3 times, 4 if you count the day trip on way to Fort Lauderdale. He is a big kid at heart and wants to see Disney through his grandchildrens eyes!

DM (my mum) 49- she loves Disney especially the parades and fireworks. She lives her life through a camera lens or behind the video camera, so I am sure the children will be pretty annoyed with Cheeeeeese by the time we leave! She has been to WDW the same amount of times as Dad. We will be celebrating my Mums 50th whilst we are there.

So that's the cast, here is the plan....

We are staying at AoA LM rooms for 14 nights in November, we will pick Chester up from School and drive straight to Gatwick where we will do twilight Check in with Virgin. We will then stay in a hotel (the name of it escapes me atm) at Gatwick and chill out! Our flight is the only Virgin Flight to MCO the day we go so it is at 1pm. This will work in our favour though I think because it means we will not have to rush with the kids in the morning and then can just wander through to V Lounge when we are ready.

I plan to fill the kiddies trunki's with lots of different activities to keep them entertained for the plane journey. Both will have child headphones that we have brought them but I suspect we will have problems with Millie keeping them on! Chester should be a little easier to keep entertained, he will have his tablet computer, which he is getting for his birthday on Monday, so I will load that with games and videos before we go. I may do the same to my iPad for Millie, but I am very protective over it and don't really want the kids to touch it haha.

We have booked a hire car so will pick this up from the airport and then drive to our resort. The plan then is to grab some dinner and possibly go for a swim to keep the kids awake for as long as possible. TBH I am freaking out a little bit about how the time difference will affect the kiddies!

We have made a few dining reservations:
T. Rex Cafe lunch
Planet Hollywood early dinner
Crystal Palace early dinner
Rainforest Cafe AK breakfast
Hollywood and vine breakfast (not my parents)
Garden Grill Dinner
Chef Mickeys Breakfast

My only regret for the dining is that I chose not to go for CRT. We did it on our honeymoon and it was amazing. At the time of selecting our dining, I just could not justify the cost, but now I am thinking my kids are only young once and I really want them to experience that magic :(

We have no other real plans for dining, I know that I want to go to BoG for lunch so the kids can appreciate the theming and I have a few Disney snacks I would like to try. But apart from that we will probably be making use of the restaurants at LBV and crossroads as we like them, they have added new ones since our last visit and no trip to Orlando is complete without a trip to Denny's for breakfast right?!

We have booked our tickets for MVMCP and as we have never done it before we are very excited!

I know that with this trip We are going to have to be guided by the kids and go at a slower pace. So I am trying my hardest to keep my planning to the basic. I have come to terms with the fact we will probably be lazing by the pool a lot more than I would like to, but I am super excited to see WDW through my Children's eyes so that's ok.

Craig, Chester and I really want to squeeze in a day to US/IOA, we haven't booked our tickets yet, but the closer we get the more I think we should book it, we will only regret it if we do not go. So I think I will book this in the next couple of weeks.

I have got photo pass + for two reasons. One because I do not want to miss any magical character moments with the kids because I am stuck behind a lens and two because when we went to DLP the last time Chester was just 1cm too short to go on BTM and I want to capture all of his ride firsts!

We will also squeeze in mini golf, hopefully WinterSummer land and pirates cove at crossroads as we love those.

As the first weekend we are there it's Veterans Day I think the plan will be to stay away from the parks on the Sunday and Monday and chose those days to go shopping and some time at the resort.

I am still undecided about wether I need to get a cheap stroller for Chester, so I think I will gauge that over the first few days and then pop to walmart if I need to.

We are all pretty disappointed that TL is closed for refurb whilst we are there as it is our favourite, we will still plan one morning at BB though.

My plan for the parks is to get there for rope drop and see how the day pans out. We are all gonna get together over the next couple of weeks and discuss what are must do things for everyone so I can factor those into the plans.

We have ordered our magic bands and when they sort the glitch with some of our tickets on MDE I will hopefully book some fast passes for days I know we will be in specific places.

Overall I think it is safe to say that out of our whole group I am the most excited! But I am sure when we get their, everyone will be equally excited! So those are our plans so far, I will update if and when we add more thoughts and plans!

Sounds like you have a great trip planned. :)

We are here at the moment with my 3.5 year old and 11month old and they both adapted to the time difference amazingly well.

The new little mermaid attraction is fab so im sure your DD will love that.
