I Don't Know About Other Buffy Fans, But I'm SO Relieved

I just saw this week's show. Our local station had to show some stupid basketball game, so I had to wait until I could download it from Kazza to see it. I just finished watching it, and I have to say I am sooooooooooooo relieved that Giles isn't dead. When Zander and all them tackled him I was like thank goodness he's alive!!! Now I just hope this isn't an evil trick the writers are playing on us and they'll later decide that he is dead.

Me too! Giles is one of my favorite characters. (Maybe because he is my age, who knows?) =0)

I too am glad they didn't kill him (there is still no explanation as to how he escaped the axe that night however).

My My, hasn't Amy grown up to be such a pleasant person?

I don't know, Amy was so sweet the first time she was on but lately...I think I like her better as a rat. Put her back in her cage and give her back her little wheel. =0)

Actually, I was begining to think that Amy was the first...how else did she know that girl (I haven't learned her name yet) was a potential?

Amy couldn't be the first though, she touched Willow when she 'tried' to help her. The first can't touch anything. How do you think Buffy will finally conquer the first? Anyone have any ideas?

Nope, no idea...but with the some Initiative people (or I guess I should say ex-initiative) around I started thinking that it would be cool if Oz, Riley, Angel, and Faith came back to help the fight against The First.

AACK! The Cavs game was on here so I have to wait until tomorrow night to see the show. Or maybe I should go ahead and download it off Kazaa. I am dying to see it.

I have the episode on tape to watch later this weekend. I do not mind the spoilers. I am glad that Giles is alive also. I also have the third season on DVD and may try to watch some of it this weekend.

I keep hearing the rumors that Faith is coming back for a few episodes, but WHEN, I keep waiting for her to suddenly pop up and surprise. But, meanwhile, what do you think Buffy is going to decide about Spike's chip? WDWHound, you're great with theories, what do you think??

question...who ever made it known that the First couldn't touch anyone? When was it known? Just curious...

I think the scoobies decided that on the episode they stormed into the basement and figured out that one blood slayer wannabe was the first, then she disappeared. If I remember correctly, Willow figured that out.

How many episodes are going to be preempted for Cav's games this year???????? That sucks. I work tomorrow night so will have to trust the men in my life to tape it.

I think she is going to have them remove the chip. To keep it in would make Spike a much less interesting character.

Faith will be back. My wife (who follows Buffy rumors a lot more than I do) tells me she will be in the last 5 episodes of Buffy this season. That will be precede by her appearing in 3 episodes of Angel, which should be popping up fairly soon.

Mandy reminds me that the audience first learned of this when Andrew and Warren (who was actually the first) first reappeared. Andrew actually stuck his hand through Warren in that episode. No way the Scoobies would know about that. The first time the Scoobies learned that the first couldn't touch anything was when Giles told them about it in the first episode this season when he was back in Sunnydale.

Now that Spike has a soul, I think that his chip should be removed. He has become one of the better characters.

I think Spike should be okay without the chip as long as he has his soul. Angel does just fine without a chip so Spike shouldn't have a problem with it either. And since Spike's soul isn't cursed then they shouldn't have to worry about him losing it.

I checked out imdb.com and it says that Faith will start appearing on Angel again on Feb. 19...that's next week's episode. They only have her listed for four episodes though instead of the rumored five that I've been hearing. The episodes that she's suppose to be in for Buffy aren't listed though, but it does say: Eliza Dushku .... Faith (1998-1999, 2003) If she's coming on after she does Angel though, it won't be until the end of March that she gets to Buffy. I really wish we could have another cross-over show though. I miss seeing Buffy and Angel together.
