Hey everyone. I am hoping you guys can help give me a clue. My husband, myself, and our children (DD13 and DS6) are going on our vacation in June. We are trying to figure out which places we want to visit. We tossed the idea up in the air about going to Universal/IOA. I see they have a pretty good deal going on right now.

Can you guys fill me in on the really cool stuff to do there? Also, do you think that DS6 will enjoy it? Any information will be deeply appreciated. TIA

Stay on site if possible. The least expensive and most family friendly of the resorts (and the newest) is the Royal Pacific. It is about a 5 minute walk to the parks or you can take the water taxi. Staying on site gives you front of the line (fotl) and gives you a much more relaxing vacation as it is not rushed like WDW, but you get time in the parks and time to enjoy the beautiful hotel and pool. Since you go on a seperate line to the front of the ride on every ride, there is no need to get up early and race around. Just enjoy at your own pace.

Your kids will love both parks as there are real thrill rides but also things for smaller children, My neice and nephew love USO more than WDW. They started going when they were 6 and 4...

Have fun planning, actually that's half the fun. At USO it is much much easier than WDW, and you and your family will have a fun and relaxing vacation.

Thanks for the tips. We are still trying to decide which parks (etc.) we want to visit, but this helps a lot. :sunny:

Im sure you'll love it, there's plenty to do there for all ages!
