I don't have a clever title but I DO have 2,000 photos! WDW in Oct. update!

I headed out of the park at around 10:30pm or so. I was tired & had enough. I knew I would be visiting FotM again the next morning, so I was happy.

Those castle and fireworks photos are INCREDIBLE! I am so jealous of your camera.....

Is the Festival of the Masters always the same dates or time of November? If so I am hoping to go in November 2013, so maybe I can see it then!

Arpil, the pictures of the Festival of the Masters work are wonderful.

And your nighttime pictures at the MK are spectacular. I love them all, but most especially the castle and fireworks pictures.

Thanks!! I debated for 2 years on whether or not to buy this camera. I'm glad I bought it, too, because I had forgotten how much I love to take pictures.
I think Festival of the Masters is always around Veteran's Day. I really loved it!

Thanks!!! I took SO many photos of the castle. It just looks so pretty with the twinkly lights on it.
I wish I could have photographed more of the art at FotM, but some of the artists did not want their work photographed.

I headed over to AK because I wanted to see the park at night & I knew it was open until 7pm. My dinner at Rose & Crown wasn't until 8:30, so I was lucky enough to stay at AK until closing!

I'm so happy that you took 2,000 photos 'cause I love looking at the all! I hated to hear that the party was so crowded that you didn't get to do much. The castle pictures and the fireworks pictures were, simply, awesome! I would love love love to see the castle all lit up with the Christmas lights.

I'm so happy that you went to the the art festival again so I could see the actual works in progress. My niece is an amazing artist and I think she would love to participate in something like that.

The pictures of Expedition Everest in the waning light are so pretty. The colors are just beautiful.

I went to my dinner at Rose & Crown and encountered one of the most drunken idiots I encountered during the trip. As I was checking in, this guy overheard me say "party of one". He was swaying & trying to stay upright & he said "Party of one- awww. Come and eat with us." I told him I would be ok & that I enjoyed being a party of one. He proceeded to hit on the hostess. I felt so bad for her. I had the vegetarian cottage pie & it was great. My goal of the evening was to get the heck out of there without encountering any more drunken goobers. I did. I stopped at the lounge & grabbed a couple of little snacks.

I have to warn you that the next group of photos in this post are of the 2 different types of spiders I saw on my way over to epcot every day. I'll leave a little space before them, so you can avoid them if you want to. I'm personally fascinated by spiders, but if they get too close to me, I freak out.

Thank you!!! I think I just posted a handful of photos that no one will like. :lmao:
The chalk artists were really great! All of the artists were awesome- it was so much fun to see all of the different styles of painting, photography, sculpture, & jewelry.
This was the first time I went to AK during sunset. I forgot to mention that I rode Expedition Everest at night- 5 times in a row!!!! That was just awesome. The view from that first hill on EE right after sunset is SO pretty!

The EE pictures are great! I've never been there when it was open that late, so I haven't seen that view of it before.

Personally I love the spider pictures! The first one looks a lot like a Golden Orb Spider, though I'm not sure if they are in Florida.

I was at Epcot specifically to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at the Eat to the Beat concert series, but I saw quite a bit before I got in line for the show.

I was looking in my insect book to try to figure out what that spider is, but I couldn't find it. I was thinking of sending it to whatsthatbug.com, but I bug them way too much! :rotfl:

You are just an updating machine today.

Your pictures of AK during the late afternoon/evening are terrific. I have NEVER been at the AK at night so enjoyed seeing them.

I have never seen spiders like the two you posted pictures of. It's a good thing as I am deathly afraid of spiders...but in photos they are beautiful.

Sorry about the drunk at the Rose&Crown. :headache:

I don't know why I am on such an updating kick today.
If you are afraid of spiders, DO NOT walk near the trees on the path from Beach Club to the International Gateway at Epcot. There are big orb webs between the trees & each web has its own spider.
I find that as I get older, I have less of a tolerance for obnoxious drinkers. I'm getting cranky, I guess. :rotfl:

I decided it was time to get in line for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. It was an hour before the show & a lot of people were lined up already. They let us sit down about 20 minutes before the show. I was lucky enough to sit in the front row, so I was happy. I am going to bore you guys to death with the next set of photos...sorry!
