That is insane to me, I knew the deed was public record. I actually found the deed record before my title company even informed me it was closed. I would be quite frustrated to find out that my broker or title company shared that information because i used a well known often used broker and the title company they recommended.I saw the title of your post and was coming to tell you that your ownership information is public record. But I don’t think it includes your email address, so now I’d have to be suspicious that the broker or title company involved in your recent purchase shared that information. Or some other website that you linked your email address to. It’s apparently easy for businesses to do that now.
This one was very direct about it being DVC points and it acts like i requested it but the only time ive been on their website it was to look at buying a contract lolI get a ton of spammy emails about "how to get out of your timeshare" and now I know why!
That's just gross. This one was very direct about it being DVC points and it acts like i requested it but the only time ive been on their website it was to look at buying a contract lol
Have you contacted multiple brokers about various offers? I have submitted maybe 15 offers over the past 6 months and closed on 2 contracts. I see a ton of targeted ads but nothing in my email about selling DVC.This one was very direct about it being DVC points and it acts like i requested it but the only time ive been on their website it was to look at buying a contract lol
Did you enter your email address there, or just cruise their website? I would certainly not want to do business with them in any case. This one was very direct about it being DVC points and it acts like i requested it but the only time ive been on their website it was to look at buying a contract lol

FWIW This is the credit bureau who sold your data, not Disney. They have standing contracts to sell the name of everyone who requests a loan that meets XYZ characteristic to various companies, many of which are shady as heck.but after putting in an app through their credit line I got over 30 calls the next few days about me trying to get a mortgage.... I was so mad I called the guide to let her know what happened.
Id respond and ask how they got your info.My resale contract closed on 6/25 and the deed was recorded on 6/26... Looking in my spam email I have a pretty well known broker asking me to sell my DVC points with them. Has this ever happened to anyone else. I am wondering how they even got my email.
I have to laugh when I get emails “we can help get you out of your timeshare”. Heck no, I want more!
