I don't care....I want to go to Disney World!

I am with you OP! It is 30 degrees and snowing where I live so I am definitely dreaming of a Disney vacation right about now . I had my initial concerns over all the changes taking place, but we decided that when it comes time to plan and book our next trip that we will find a way to adapt to the changes and just plan things differently so that we can continue to enjoy WDW! We love the Disney World experience and it is definitely a happy place for us. We definitely don't spend thousands of dollars to just experience the "atmosphere", but I have to say that out of all the places we've vacationed, Disney is the only place where I get goosebumps when I first step foot onto the property. There is an unmatched feeling I get when we first go to MK and see the castle for the first time or see the Epcot ball (Spaceship Earth) for the first time during our trip. I have a child with autism too and on our last trip he wanted to stay at the MK train station balcony just to stare at the castle and watch people walking down Main Street, so we all happily spent 30 minutes just admiring the view and being in awe of the castle and also in that moment the fact that we were able to take our four kids back to this place and I have to say that was one of the highlights of our recent trip :goodvibes

Anyone posting negative stuff should have to wear the Cone of Shame.

I hope you don't think I was being negative by posting that. I simply was trying to distract my friend, BayouMickey, from taking the bait!!

No worries AMYB! I gave em a lil nibble to apease but i'm back on pixie dust!

Many of you are a pretty unfriendly bunch when others don't agree with you.

1 more quick question. How come on this discussion board many are dead set against having a discussion?

My friend, because this isn't a thread for discussions, but for giving that inner happy-person a dust off, a shine up, and a spin around your laughin' place! It's a response to all the negativity that's been floating around the boards lately...a little mental relief. Cheers, Dude! pixiedust::yay:pixiedust:

Good! I was hoping you wouldn't have to resort to "Andy's Coming" next! No one wants to see a 160 lb bald man collapse mid sentence! :)

Dear friend.. it's not that we disagree with you, it's just that we DON'T CARE! WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY!

No cone of shame needed here.....I love love love Disney and cannot wait for the next 21 days to pass so I can be there :)

It's all good. You don't have to wear the Cone of Shame.;)

Some others however...

I just fail to understand all the panic threads. Change fastpass, and you would think they are demolishing the castle or something.

The whole world of Disney is falling down around us because we have to wait in queue lines now. Rides are shutting down, it's going to rain the week of your visit because FP+ is glitching, monorails will derail, buses will run off bridges, planes will fall from the sky, people will die in the streets because their ADR was wrong and they couldn't eat because somehow FP has something to do with ADR....Might as well just lay in a ditch somewhere.

Reminds me of some of my guys at our restoration company calling the office telling me the nail gun is broken, so we can't work on this and that. Dear God, how did houses appear before nail guns!?

Oh, so sweet! You made me clutch the pearls. We have so many of those awwww moments at WDW.

We have another 18 months or so for our next trip. But that is only because we are planning Rome in December 2014 to be with my sister-in-law who is studying to be a nun there. So no boo hoo for us, I just really want to go to Disney World. Any yes, our girl with autism is in on the Rome plans.
