I don’t mind the odd “pat” but this woman is HANDLING me!

I’ve recently been co-opted on to a committee where I find I don’t like the second-in-charge.
She is a serious fusser which gives me a pain, but what really bothers me is that she keeps grabbing me by the arm to ask me something, and then she HOLDS ON! Then someone else will pass by that she has to ask something (this woman is chaotic!) but she’ll still hold on to me, and my blood pressure rises!
I’m not a very touchy-feely person, and the fact that I don’t like this woman in the first place means her grabby behaviour makes my skin crawl.
While I would love to swat her hand away, this is a very “polite” committee and I need to sort the problem diplomatically. But if she does this to me when I’m having a bad day, I’m going to want to deck her!

Anyone have experience of someone like this, and what did you do?

I haven't been in this situation, but you could try pulling away. If she hangs on, maybe politely say, "Could you unhand me while we discuss this? It makes me uncomfortable." Or, I suppose, you could even lie and say something like "Could you please let go of my arm? I injured it the other day, and it hurts." Good luck with it--I don't like being manhandled, either. (Don't know anyone who does!)
