Ok here is my vent for the night, I very rarely if ever vent but here goes.
What is the deal with someone asking for an opinion on their behavior and then FREAKING out when everyone agrees that they are being overly sensitive.
OMG, this is the DIS boards if you cant handle different opinions then STAY AWAY.

I dunno. Everything a poster says is in fact their oppinion right. DO I think to simple I don't get why the explanations are needed, it is just the thought of the poster. What am I missing?

Ok I read your post again, you mean they ask for an opinion and then do not like what they hear, well that I can't explain hun

I was thinking when a certain subject was being discussed, and a poster says something that others don't agree with, they drill the poster on what they said...but it is just an opinion so why explain it to death ya know.

IE. Say the subject is apples and I say I don't like apples, they are icky and I hate them... then posters start with how can you not like apples, if you don't like apples then why are they so popular... blah blah and seventy eleventy people drill me on why and how I don't like apples, it's like hey, it is only my opinion, move on, ya know.

If that doesn't make sense, go on without me

Hey, I think you're talking about me!

But really, I don't care if you don't like apples, and I wouldn't drill you on why you don't like apples, I'd only try to explain why other people like apples if you called them crazy for liking apples and suggest allowing your children to try apples rather than keeping them from apples based solely on your own personal dislike for apples that your children may or may not share.

to the op. you call that a vent? if that is what you think a vent is then i suggest you do a search to find out what a real vent looks like. i think when you say freaking out, it is rude and insensitive. i know someone who is a freak, and to say freaking out, is very demeaning to those people that are freaks. quite frankly, if you want some sympathy maybe you shoue quit insulting half of us disers with your adjectives that show a behavioral pattern of discrimination. i myself have a condition that forces me to write my opinion and then get very offended when people dont agree with me. and you have a audacity to tell me to stay away. i suppose you would like people like me to just crawl under a rock and go away, so as not to disturb your perfect little world. well, sister, there are a lot of us out here, and many of us have not been diagnosed yet. so before you go bashing my kind again, i would hope you would have a little more sympathy for my condition.

I am really truely worried about the poster if we are thinking about the same one. I feel that she is very depressed and is reaching out for help. I just wish there were someway to help her.

I am terribly sorry if I offended you in any way shape or form. I really thought what i was writing was a vent , but in hindsight it may have just been me B*$chin about someone else. Also Im sorry about the freaking out remark I didnt mean to insult the freaks of the world, would it be better if I say posts like that irritate the hell out of me. Kirbsam please forgive me, I will try to not vent anymore.

Oh i went back an reread what i wrote last night and realized what I wrote... and I will change it to... poster had a COW when others didnt agree with her. I apologize upfront if this insults the cows of the world , i dont mean too.
