I got a late retirement gift today! As a teacher I have never been able to go to WDW in the beginning of Dec. to enjoy MVMCP, CP and all the holiday decorations. I decided to celebrate my recent retirement by trying to get a last minute reservation. With the help of MS and a wonderful BWV CM named Alfredo, I finally completed the 5 day ressie TODAY (we leave tomorrow--see counter)! I am FLYING! Thanks to Whomever or whatever forces made this happen. Waitlists DO work! :cloud9:

Enjoy all of the excitement of the holidays! I'm glad it worked out for you.

Jean, I was just reading your post on the thread regarding renting points for profits and then I see this! I'm so very glad that everything worked out for you! We're going down right after Christmas; this will be our first time during the holidays as well and we're really psyched.

Now all you need is a Partridge in a Pear Tree...have a great time !!!

WooHoo!! I am SOO happy for you!! Does this mean that you don't have to move on the last night?

I can't wait to meet you!!!

:cheer2: Have a great time! You deserve it! :cheer2:

Yes Congrats!! You deserve it! Nothing can stop the Pixie Dust, not even Peak Time Bandits! LOL

Hi,

Great!!! Have a good time!

Yay! Well done! May it be the first of Many such visits.

My little Bro is also tied to the school schedule, and we've been trying to drag him and SIL down with us at some point. He is a High School Art teacher. So if he stays in the profession (and doesn;t give up in the wake of the "No Teacher Left Standing" act), I guess we'll have to do without him for MVMCP, at least until he hits retirement - he's been teaching a mere 15 yrs.

Enjoy your newfound freedom!

Congrats....you will have an amazing time. Since the Osbourne Family Lights are back this year make sure you see it....blows the mind.

Been fortunate enough to have spent the last 6 XMAS's and New Year's there and gotta tell ya.......no place I'd rather be.......

Enjoy...................

Truer words were never spoken. I am traveling this time without DH, taking instead a former colleague who still has 2 years until retirement. She has saved up personal leave to take a break from the pressure cooker at school. While I may be EXCITED about this trip, she is the one who really NEEDS it! :teacher:

Does this mean that you don't have to move on the last night?

YES! We won't have to move!! :cool1:
Thanks, all, for the good wishes!
Jean
