I have never had the cinnamon rolls from MK before. I wanted to try them but now i'm not so sure. I personally perfer the MK cookies for my bakery treat. Have you ever had the MK ice cream cookie sandwich. I feel about that the way a lot of fans feel about that cinnamon roll. Thanks for the heads up

Those sandwiches are so good! I have only had them once but it was huge

Love figment!!!!!! I know that ride is somewhat cheesy but it is a family fav My brother loved figment like crazy when we were little.

Yeah I mean... I LOVE cinnamon rolls. But I have had better. I like them when they're really gooey... the one I had was a little dry (the bottom anyway. the middle was good, though!) I bet they're better when they're warm.
But anyways... I like your rope drop pictures! Sounds like the morning is off to a great start!

I always aim to make rope drop, but never quite get there in time. We are usually about 10-20 minutes too late. And when we could have made Epcot's rope drop, we were staying at the Beach club so never saw anything from the "back entrance."

Anyways, sounds like you had a lot accomplished that morning.

Awesome news about the billboard! That's so cool! How many people can say they have been on a billboard (that they didn't pay for)?

Excited for your new TR to start too, to hear about things from Josh's viewpoint. A newbie that loves Disney - that will be fun to read about.

Hi All! Time for another update about May! Caitlin's so excited to tell you about our recent trip that we need to get this one done so we can start our next one

When Caitlin left off we were at Epcot.....she neglected to tell you a couple things though. First of all, it was unbearably hot that day! I don't know the exact temp but we kept hearing that it broke a record that day. So the weather was miserable!

The other thing she didn't mention was how crowded Epcot was that day. The D23 scavenger hunt had started and people were everywhere. We did enjoy checking out the teams though because they all had made personalized shirts. Our favorite was "DSI:St. Louis (disney scene investigation)" Very clever

After Mission Space we decided to head over to the Festival Center and see what they had going on in there.

I loved these living walls. Very cool!

They had a lot of festival merchandise available for purchase (but we didn't) and since the festival was almost over much of it was on sale

There were lectures going on and they had guest speakers from HGTV.

After browsing the center we decided to head over to World Showcase. Of course we're never too hurried to stop for pictures

Then we happened upon Tink's Fairy Garden. Who can resist taking pics of those cute little pixies?

A furry little friend discovered the garden was a nice place for lunch

Finally we found everyone's favorite fairy

They had a meet and greet but we didn't stop. We've had the pleasure of meeting the fairies before, in air-conditioned comfort, so we didn't feel the need to wait in the heat to say "hi".

Instead we continued on to World Showcase. There was a cruise on the Mexican Riveria calling our names....

This is such a cheesy little ride but we all love it!

After our cruise we continued on around WS as we had a lunch adr to get to...

Germany....we love how the train village changes seasonally

Finally our journey took us into Germany which is where our adr happened to be

We were ushed into the Biergarten by the cutest German CM EVER!! His name was Paul (very ethnic, no?) and he was very tall (6 ft 5 maybe) and very cute. The princess was definitely enjoying the German scenery
We tried to covertly snap his pic but didn't have much luck as it's really dark in there.

And then we kept missing and catching him from behind

Apparently we were very distracted by the handsome host because we have 0 pictures of the food

After lunch we decided to split up, Dale and I were going to the American Adventure and Caitlin was going to roam solo.

I absolutely love this group! They are so talented and sound so beautiful! I was in tears for their rendition of "God Bless America"

After the performance, we wandered through the exhibit section.

Dale, Caitlin and I all graduated from John Glenn High School so we had to snap some pics of the memorabilia he had on display

Then it was time to head upstairs to the show

Meanwhile....Caitlin was off in WS where she had purchased an Epcot Passport thinking it would be a good way to meet CM hotties. Her first victim
(excuse me I mean volunteer) was this Italian CM. His name happened to be Guido which we found amusing. ( please no offense to any Guidos who might be reading!)

That was as far as she ended up getting with the passport so she planned to just bring it on the next trip. Since Josh wouldn't have been too keen on her flirting her way around WS, Dale and I ended up putting it to a different use on our trip but you'll have to wait for that.

We all met back up in the good ol' US of A.

We then decided it was time for a resort break so we began making our way back to the front of the park

Before we left we stopped at Spaceship Earth which was a walk on.

Do you think female scientists really dressed like this in the 60's?

After we returned to Earth we continued to the bus stop

When we got back to the resort it was nap time for Dale and Caitlin and I hit the pool

Grabbed cold drinks from the bar

and relaxed.

I made DS an Epcot Passport this year. We change things around every year to make WS more interesting for DS. Last year, we collected different pressed pennies from each country.

I can't wait to hear about your Aug trip. It looks like you guys converted Josh to Disneyholic also.
