Ew, can't believe your plane was so dirty! I always bring anti bacterial wipes too, just in case something like that happens...and because I feel like planes are just full of germs!

All Star Sports looks really cute! That's the one Disney resort I thought I'd never stay in, but the surf section actually looks like fun! And I like the bathroom!

Ugh, that stinks about the full body scanner. We had those too but luckily we didn't have to be taken anywhere. But it is just weird. Sad it's come to that though.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the new scanner but it would have been fine if not for the waistband issue which seemed really odd.

The dirt was really gross like old coffee rings on the trays. It made me glad I always pack wipes

I felt the same way about Sports and I was very pleasantly surprised! The whole resort was actually very cute

I tried not to think too much about how dirty it was because I could have very easily been really grossed out

I think there really is something to enjoy about the theming at every single Disney resort. They pay such attention to detail!

Just read about your arrival. Weird about the body scanners being sensitive to new pant waistlines! I will remember that for when I have to go through a full body scanner. I hope the rain went away for your special meeting. you have my curiousity peaked about that meeting. also hope this 2 day stay at all star was better than you previous one.

And I am going to grab my little thing of Clorox wipes right now!!! Thanks for reminding me!!!

Oh and another thing....I never thought about reserving preferred at POP, you think it's worth it?

When we went in January, we didn't have to go through any of those crazy TSA routines. Just the metal detector. Vickie and I had to take off our sweatshirts, though. It was kinda weird. Hopefully I won't deal with anything like that in July!

ASSp looks like it would be my second choice for a value, after POP.

I hope the rain lets up for you guys!

Its crazy that the full body scanners can be fooled by something as simple as new pants. I had to go through one of the full body scanners as well, but thankfully, my pants must have been old!!

I got so excited seeing your Magical Express and arrival pictures!!! I can't wait to be on that bus in January!!!!!

I rarely see all star sports pictures here and I have always wanted to try that resort. So far everything looks really nice. I think the surfs up section is super cute. I hope you guys enjoyed your stay there.

Yay - the actual start of the trip and the arrival! I've never stayed at All Star before so it's neat to see pics of it.

Gross and double ick to the love bugs. I remember seeing those one year in May and was so grossed out. Ugh.

I didn't realize that Detroit had them either. Orlando doesn't

I really liked the closeness of the preferred room to the pool and the main building. At BWV, BCV and SSR we were so far from everything it felt like a major hike to go anywhere so bwing around the corner from the action was wonderful!

You still have to take off jackets, sweatshirts, belts etc exceot now some airports have the "high tech" scanner

I still prefer Pop but I agree that Sports makes a nice second for something a little different.
