I didn't know the baby's powers so I covered the basics: An Oct. '11/March ‘12 PTR

Great updates!!! Your pictures are spectacular!!! At first, I was thinking, are these from a website or did she take them? But I hung in there and yup. they're yours!

So, all caught up now!

Sounds like you have a great morning planned at HS! I hope you ride RNR! My oldest son did not dare to ride this until our 2010 trip. He loved it!!! It became his favorite ride! At least until he met the extreme coasters at Universal and Sea World. We consider RNR as his "threshold" coaster.

My money is on you and Franklin for rope drop to dinner. It would be an awfully late dinner for us, but I know you are used to the late night hours.

Turtle Talk, huh? We haven't done that one! Wasn't around until after the boys were born, and since we started taking them to Disney, they have been in an age range where this does not appeal to them (or at least they would never admit it)

I LOVE this picture!!! Is it wrong that I looked for Hidden Mickeys? There is almost one, but the circles are not touching.

***********************************************

You should totally take the monorail to the MK. As you know from my TR, the monorail is TOO a ride!!!

So cute that Franklin loves Dumbo. Again, this is something my family has never done.

************************************************

Great call on Columbia Harbor House. Definitely grab a table upstairs.

Mmmmm- looking forward to hearing about your meal at Citricos- haven't dined there.

Thanks so much for including the pictures of Figment and Dreamfinder :lovestruc

The original version is our favorite, too. My DH and I fell in love with EPCOT and Disney (in that order) on our Senior Class trip in High School, shortly after EPCOT had opened and this park has been special to us since then. Lots of changes here, most of them good, but giving Dreamfinder the sack was not one of the better ones!

Looking forward to more of your countdown! I'll try to keep up!

I'm still here reading! Just fell a bit behind...

I'm a Nemo fan too! I would never have a bad word for that ride.

Have you been to Citrico's before? We've been once, I had the pork 3 ways. If you aren't a pork belly fan, I don't recommend it. Just trying to be helpful. This has been the only place on property that I really had no clue what to order...:confused3
I hope you have a wonderful experience!!!
Welcome back! I love  pork belly, so the pork three ways may be perfect for my Citricos order! Thanks for the recommendation! :thumbsup2

Franklin gets all the credit for the photos, he's an A-MAZ-ING photographer!

I really think I'm gonna give it a try, and I hope I may actually like it! :rotfl2:

I think we're up to it! I am pretty used to the late hours. The really tough adjustment for me on these Disney trips is getting up really, really early...something I don't usually do when I work nights!

I never noticed the almost-hidden Mickey! Good eyes!

You should put it on the list for your next trip. It's a fun ride, it had great views of the castle....plus, it's the only way to see over the Fantasyland construction walls! :lmao:

I'm pretty excited to add another Signature dinner, and I've heard nothing but raves about Citricos!

I miss the old version of this ride and it makes me so sad to hear all the rumors that they're going to close the ride completely! :sad1:

Looks like great departure day plans. I love Pirates too! Catchy songs ;) hhaha

That's one of my favorite tracks on the "Four Parks, One World" CD!

Technically it's after midnight, but Sundays during Redskins season are a little busy for me, so I didn't have a chance to put this up until now...

25. Mad Tea Party
This ride is pure fun. I’ve never felt sick on it, which is probably why I can describe it as pure fun. :yay: :dance3: :yay:

It’s such a simple concept, but the ride never gets old to me. And I’ve been on it a few times when Alice or the Mad Hatter ride with kids and watching the kids’ reactions is just too cute!

My kids feel the same way about the Teacups! On the other hand, me and the Teacups don't always get along.

24. Winnie the Pooh
I like this ride (though not nearly as much as its predecessor, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride!), though I firmly believe this ride is what you see if you take acid. :rotfl2:

I love the way the colors of the characters POP on the dark ride.

And even though there are few words in the song, it’s also one of my most-listened-to songs on the “Four Parks, One World” CD.

Funny story, Franklin’s sister’s dog Cody has an Eeyore toy that is his favorite. He plays with it all the time, so much so that it is practically torn to shreds. We always joke about what it would be like if Cody ever saw the Eeyore character at Disney World. I’m sure he’d be thinking “That’s the biggest toy I’ve ever seen!” :lmao:

I can't wait to try the new queue for Pooh. It is a cute ride!

The new queue! That's right, I can't wait to try the new queue! In fact, I'm a little worried that Tanner might enjoy playing in the queue so much in March that the actual ride will be a disappointment for him. :lmao:

But in the meantime, his Uncle Franklin and Aunt Missy will just have to try it out in October to make sure it's working for him. ;)

You're only 5 days away from your trip, right? Are you totally excited?

You're right! And ahh... no, not excited... our air line is going on strike Wednesday so we don't even know if we're going to get there for sure. They're telling us we probably will but the uncertainty is killing me!
I'm sure I'll get there just fine though. I'll try out the Pooh queue so I can tell you if it's working so you can get it ready for Tanner. :lmao:

Oh no! What a way to kill your Disney buzz. I hope you guys get there okay. I'm sending a little pixie dust your way! pixiedust:

Thank you! I'm awfully disappointed that my single digit dance week isn't as happy as it should be, but if I get there at all this will all just be a good story to tell some day.

Tower of Terror- no problem!

Mad Tea Cups- not so much! This is the only ride at Disney that actually scares me.

When I was younger, I could handle any ride, but lately- I'm going to say since the kids were born (yes, I'm blaming the children)- I can't handle anything spinny.

Pooh is a cool ride, but I feel the same way you do. It's a pretty trippy ride. I wonder about taking the kids on there. "No, mommy and daddy DON"T condone drug use"

Teeka- I hope everything works out ok with your flights! That just s*cks!

I would love to try Tower of Terror, I'm just too chicken. The whole reason I don't "do" roller coasters is because I don't like big drops. So when the entire ride is a series of big drops, the chicken side of me says "No way!" :sad2:

My parents always joked it was easier to blame the kids for almost anything, so I think it would work for Mad Tea Party too! :lmao:

Trippy, great word to describe the Pooh ride! :thumbsup2

Apparently, I just made my 500th post here on the Dis, which turned me from a Mousketeer to a Dis Veteran! Wuh-hoo! :woohoo:

Thought I could celebrate here on the PTR. Hehe.

23. Snow White
Since no one seems to know when this ride will close for good, I’m really excited to get to ride it one last time in a few weeks. :goodvibes

482940468_5rPN3-M.jpg

Yes, it’s a dark ride just like Winnie the Pooh, but that’s where the similarities end. Snow White is dark and scary. I can’t even imagine the horror of parents who have no idea about the ride and take their 5 year old on this ride. :scared1:

The ride tells a full story and, like any good fairytale, has a happy ending.

As sad as I am that this ride is going to close, the info they gave about the new Snow White mine ride at D23 makes it sound like it’s going to be awesome! Can’t wait to try it!

Those are great Snow White ride pictures. I've never had much attachment to this ride, but I think I will try to go on it one last time in January if it is still open.

22. Peter Pan
So I guess you’ve noticed a theme so far on this countdown, I’m a sucker for Disney’s dark rides. And Peter Pan is my favorite of them.

Why do I love Peter Pan? Let me count the ways...

I love the flying boats :lovestruc.

I love the miniature London that you fly over :lovestruc.

I love the colors :lovestruc.

I love the characters :lovestruc.

The only thing I don’t love? How slow-loading the ride is. :sad2:

Awww I love Peter Pan too! Especially flying over London, it's so cool. It is awfully slow loading though isn't it? DH rode it for the first time last year and kept asking me "is it worth this wait?" lol. I assured him that it was.

Why are boys always such Disney doubters? :lmao:

I can't believe you leave tomorrow! I hope you have so much fun! Can't wait to hear all about your trip. :goodvibes
