Just saw a video of what I am assuming was the Mummy in Hollywood which was very different than the one in Orlando. Seemed to be quite a bit shorter too, some of the elements I liked but some I thought Orlando was better overall, odd I was always under the impression they were virtually identical like the Jurassic Park is, which I have actually done both of those.

Yes, it has a lot of different elements. I like them both!!!

You're correct, the Orlando version is longer and better. It was built in the bigger King Kong building instead of the smaller E.T building in Hollywood.

The Jurassic Park River Adventure is also different in CA than FL. In Orlando, you have the raptor cage before you enter the building but in California, you have the falling jeep. There are other things too but I won't say anything else. If you want spoilers, check out YouTube for ride-on videos of both :) I think they alter the same rides between parks to give people reasons to visit both parks for different experiences.

Yes I realize there were a few subtle differences, one has 2 Brontosaurseses the other only 1, I just meant fundamentally, they are both real similar. And I thought the jeep was supposed to be at the orlando one but they took it out or something, :confused3 maybe not

We just got back from our first trip. This was our favorite ride of all. Even beat the Harry Potter attractions for us. Loved it!

I like the hollywood version better. The backwards section is much longer and you can feel the scarabs on your legs. Also, I'm not a fan of the drops on the Orlando version, it's definitely a rougher ride.

I enjoyed both versions of the Mummy but overall Orlando's park is top notch in my book, has a great vibe:) we always try to work it in on our trips to Orlando. We've skipped returning to USH last two trips to DL, just didn't seem worth the effort to haul all the way up there for us on a short trip, but the backlot tour and the monsters' walk thru for USH are very cool.

The TMs at Orlando great, especially the makeup show guys, but both DL & USH performers are amazing (might have something to do with the wealth of actors out in LA;)) I'd really like to see the USH HHN performances.
