Im booked for 2005!!!! The nice cm at cro told me to just book now and worry about the AP rate later, does anyone know if there are any other discounts available right now for AKL 9/24-10/8???? the AAA is not available yet either.


anyway , i decided to go with pool view this time, i loved the savanha it was great but i would like to give the pool a try, if anyone has some views on pool vs savanha rooms i would love to hear them!!!

always nice to find another fan!!!, my mother loves DMB too and she always tells me that DMB fans are like their own race!!! very down to earth and giving people. I see that alot at the shows....of course you get alot of frat boys but for the most part the majority of the concert goers are very friendly. cant wait for the summer tours, they help get us through our "cant wait to go back to disney" depression !!!!

Congrats!!! We've stayed at AKL twice in the last two years, once savannah view and once deluxe pool view. I loved the savannah view, but we opted for the pool view this last trip because we wanted to do the sunrise safari (we booked concierge for one night of our stay), so we saved money on the room to be able to do concierge. Well, we loved the lounge so much, we ended up adding concierge to our entire stay! We loved both rooms, although I have to admit that the extra space in the deluxe room was awesome. It's only about 40 sq ft more, but it really makes a difference. Our pool view was beautiful, and our room was within easy access of the elevators to Mara, the pool, the arcade, and the laundry room (we were on Zebra trail). It's really nice to "people watch" from your balcony, and we enjoyed being able to hear the African music from the pool area. It was also nice to be able to view water during the hot summer! If we visited again, I think I'd probably opt for the savannah view and request Zebra trail. Not that we didn't enjoy the pool view, but I think it would be nice to do the savannah room again. Have fun!

Many have reported getting AAA rates throughout all of 2005, including September, so that rate is indeed available. It appears from your other post, though, that you didn't get it yet, but you should check back from time to time. I would start looking for AP and other discount codes around April 2005. Those could save you as much as $80/night.

i didnt think $225 sounded bad for a pool view, we did savana this past oct and it was great, but a long long walk to the pool!!!
