Thanks to all the suggestions yesterday..... I told DH that yet another friend called me for Disney advice and I spent some time researching prices and discounts on line and was yearning to go again too... He was sticking to his guns that we would NOT return until Oct. 2007... no ifs, ands, or butt's!!! I kept trying to tell him our trip to VA beach would cost the same in the long run as 7 nights at POR including airfare and park tickets... he still didn't want to hear it..... NO! NO! NO! NO! Then.... after my sulking :rotfl: and telling him that I can't see spending that kind of $$ to go someplace neither of us is overly thrilled about visiting (VA beach) he decided to meet me 1/2 way... he said he will agree to go IF we only stay at the YC or BC-ONLY... nowhere else... and we only go for 4 nights :( :( :( :( :( :( :( He's self-employed and very fearful of leaving the business for a week (yet his business partner is taking 4 weeks vacation this year :confused3 ) I figure if we leave on my younger DD's 4th bday (Sept. 30) and get an early flight (7:30 "ish") then we can get to Orlando by 10:30 and drop our bags off @ the desk to go into a park by noon "ish" so that we'll have 4 days to spend in the parks... head out Wed. morning (the 4th of Oct) Just enough to get my fix!!! LOL! I'm insane agreeing to only 4 nights, but if that's the only way we can get there, then so be it!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: We've been to Disney a bunch of times, so the 4 days should be enough to fit everything in that I want to :thumbsup2 Off to call CSR to book the Beach Club now!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1:
212 days to go!!!!

Good for you!!! Hey 4 days is better than nothing!! And he said the YC/BC, that's an upgrade to where you first suggested so that's great!!
DH use to give me a hard time to, until he became a convert with his first deluxe hotel experience!! He was hooked and now we are DVC'ers!!! :cool1:

YAY!!! :cheer2: Good for you! I would take 4 days if i could get them! And, the BC-how cool! Can't wait to hear all your plans and read a TR! :woohoo:

Just a suggestion, but you could go for the full week with the kids and have DH just meet you for the 4 days he can get away. Or am I the only wife that evil?

I'v noticed that 4 days can sometimes turn into 7 days as the planning starts.

Then the 7 days turn into 10 days. Yep, I've definately seen this happen on these boards. :rotfl2:

Thanks everyone!!! I did actually convince him to agree to 5 nights-but that is truly the absolute max as he is self employed and he can't be away from his work longer than that-5 days is plenty-we can do it!!! It's better than 4 days! :)

5 certainly is better than 4! Good for you! Now will you come to my house and talk to my DH!? :rotfl:

NO~count me in that club too!.... :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

My DH does not like Disney so I am going alone with the kids :thumbsup2

I asked him to join us over Father's day weekend, but he declined. More fun for us to have  princess:
