I did it. So did DW and her sister and three kids. Sears (willis) Tower glass shelf!

OMG! That makes me want to throw up just looking at it. :scared1: I'm sure it's some experience but just not for me!

Woooo hoooo! Quarter mile high club? (im not sure the actual distance)

one of the ledges was closed. we had already been out on the other ones, so we loudly mentioned how "one is broke already" hehehehehe we are so mean.

did you see the big dent in the southeast support beam for the ferris wheel?

could you imagine being on the old wood one from 1893, that was almost twice as tall!!!

Mikeeee

BIG DENT?!??!?!?!??!??!?!:scared1: Nope, man, my heart started racing just READING that! I cannot go up in that thing, I have tried, where I switch sides so that I am staring away from the inside mechanics, but I 'll take the Big Willy over the Ferris Wheel anytime!Ummmm, no, could not even imagine the wooded one, and not enclosed...:faint: The last window was roped off when we were there as well, brown paper on the floor glass...not sure why. I bet there will be a wedding there soon, if not already.
1/4 Mile Club, eh?
I like my DD's name better, we are Aerosmith fans and started singing "Livin' on the Ledge"...when we were on it..lol...we were changing up the words like "you can have yourself a ball" to "you must be careful not to falllll" DH thought we were nuts, but you get kinda bored in a 2.5 hour line...humor helps! So, how about "Livin' on the Ledge " club?;)

the first wedding is to take place today on the ledge.....unfortunately the clouds are not cooperating, I am surprised it took this long for a wedding up there.

Cool, looks great.

I know in my family, that my daughter and I would do it in a heartbeat (in fact, knowing her, she'd probably get kicked off for jumping up and down on it).
My wife and son on the other hand, well, let's just say that that's a different story.

I guess next you have to do the Grand Canyon overlook. :thumbsup2

The skywalk is amazing. scared the living daylights out of me...but still cool.
