we took monday off since DW's sister was in town with her two boys and girl.

we went downtown to the sears tower and to navy pier.

That's cool. But no way, no how for me. I've ridden one of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world but I couldn't even imagine putting my baby toe out there much less taking a step.

I do not like heights either. but you see everyone do it. you just have to make yourself realize it is not going to break and there is no way to fall. not the same as stading on the edge of rocky cliff.

I LOVED it!
Now the ferris wheel on NAVY PIER... I cannot handle looking at the mechanics of the ride, the sloooooooooooooow ride. The Sears tower tho..or as it is now known as the "wigglin'willy" or since it did rain a bit on the day we were there, the Wet Willy.. just absolutely thought it was the coolest thing EVAH!

one of the ledges was closed. we had already been out on the other ones, so we loudly mentioned how "one is broke already" hehehehehe we are so mean.

did you see the big dent in the southeast support beam for the ferris wheel?

could you imagine being on the old wood one from 1893, that was almost twice as tall!!!
