I decided! WL, Oct.28-Nov. 4th. Now - what rates do I choose?

I am a member of AAA. Do I do room-only? Package with dining to take advantage of Grand Gatherings Fireworks Cruise? If Disney comes out with discount for October, can I switch? There will be 8 of us - 4 kids/4 adults.

Help - this is the part that confuses me the most!

Depends. I booked a package for the first time through my local AAA and added the dining program. For $37 per day for an adult, felt it was totally worth it, as a nice sit-down dinner could run close to that for just one meal.

Have usually booked a room only in the past using either my AAA card or an AP.

I guess it depends on whether you will use all the meals included in the meal plan or not.
