The calendar is so cute. Very outside the box thinking. I was thinking you were taking the heads off Mrs. Backwards.

IJ night looks so cool. How fun having an obstacle course. Our first night is coming up on Friday!

Of course I would do things backwards! Thanks! It was fun to make and the kids are enjoying looking at it.

Can't wait to hear about your Disney night! Since were not having one this week it will help me get my Disney night fix.

I just love your countdown calendar !!! I did the chain this year and Dallas isn't as interested for some reason . I just want to know how in the world you have all that stuff for your Disney nights? You have it all right down to Indy and the Nazi soldiers . I'm with you on some parts in the movie, I remember going to see it and some of it really scared me .

Have fun with the musical, I know it is a lot of work, but so worth it.

This is my third attempt to try and post a reply. Darn office computer keep shutting down on me. So, I apologize right now that the post is short but I'm trying to get it in before my computer shuts down again.

Your countdown calendar is too cute. I have a Disney print something or other around the house. Need to find it so I can get the fonts to make our countdown calendar.

Once again, your Disney night looked great. Not sure if I could get my family to eat curry chicken but I would have definitely given it a try.

Good luck with your church activities. Our church is still torn to smitherines (spelling?) We couldn't even find a parking place last Sunday. Even waaaay down the road. I'll be glad when the construction is done.

Thanks Dana! Alex got some Indiana Jones toys for his birthday or Christmas a year ago so we got lucky.

We have a big rehearsal Saturday before our Sunday performance and I always feel better after the rehearsal. I can't wait for the kids to do it! It's going to be great!

Thank you! I can't believe how many fonts you can find online! When we did the IJ night, I went online to look for an IJ font and low and behold, I found one.

I need to see if I can find some before and after pics of our church. It was a mess! We also had parking issues. It was definately all worth it though.

I was so excited today to watch Lauren tape the 24 Mickey head to the countdown calendar. I can't believe it! Now that the musical's over, all my attention is on Disney!!

Wow! What a weekend! We had four rehearsals for our church’s children’s choir musical between Friday night and Sunday afternoon. Then we performed it on Sunday night. A lot of hard work went into it which started in mid January and all of us teachers couldn’t have been prouder of all those children. We performed a musical called “Kings, Dreams, and Schemes.” It’s the story of Daniel and it was so cute! We had 115 children participate in the musical, and yes, it was controlled chaos. Here’s some photos:

The woman on the left, in the lighter blue shirt, is Ms. Cheri. She’s the lady in charge of making sure all this is controlled chaos. I don’t know what we would do without Cheri.

The woman on the right is Ms. Boots. She makes all of our costumes. She’s amazing!

At the end of the year, Cheri recognizes the 6th graders who are graduating out of children’s choir. It’s always a happy/sad moment for the teachers and the kids. They get a trophy with their name on it.

So now that the musical is officially over, I can center my attention on all things Disney! Yay!
