I got a shockaroo. I called about a week ago and they gave me a rack rate of 279.00 for 2 adults in a garden view room. Today i checked the universal website and it was 294.00 for 2 adults in a garden view room. What is going on? I've been waiting on aph rates to come out. Now i'm starting to regret not making the reservations when i called universal. The only difference in the 2 quotes was two free tickets online. But i don't need two free tickets. Actually, i do need to get two kids tickets but you can get those for 85.00 online. I just can't justify the difference. I don't know if we are going to be able to go now. I wonder how crowded it will be during the end of May to justify the front of the line access perk? Does anyone know what the stats are?

if so, book now and modify your rate when the ap rates come out.
right now all that is in the system is the rack rate.

it will come down. check frequently next year. ap rates do not come out as quick as the super saver or aaa rates.

Yes! Book and pay the one nights deposite and then keep watching for better rates! And then call back and have them change the rates. This is what most of us do.

the rooms i needed. One of my big concerns is that the admn sec to the hard rock gen mgr was assisting me in resies because of some unfortunate incidents that occured during a prior stay and she was waiting for the aph rates to come out to make the resies for me. She was going to give me a free upgrade. I'm sure it will be okay though. I'm going to call her today and let her know that i made the resies because i was concerned about rooms being available. I'm sure she can still do something.

please contact that adm sec so she can secure the arrangements you made w/ the gm in the past.

never wait to book rooms if you HAVE to have specific room types or dates.
most people that are regulars at the UO hotels book early and modify later.
