Aw the faux hawk is so cute! Reminds me of the pic I posted a few weeks ago of my little guy. It's nice because he doesn't really have a mohawk, but you can make it into one for the day.

Boardwalk for the proximity to Jellyrolls etc and Epcot,

would Port Orlenas be an option as its only a boat ride from DTD? or is deluxe definitely on the cards?

in Ireland right now I know lots of friends/families that are doing 'Come Dine with me', do you have that in the US? Each person hosts a 3 course dinner party, the rest give the scores in secret and the results are revealed after everyone has entertained! I know one family who did it totally properly with filming the comments on the food etc and their granda provided the prize...a trip to London!

if your friends enjoy cooking/entertaining might be a fun idea!

our next sleepover is ogoing to be a glee-fest, we all promised not to watch glee then we're going to try and watch the whole first series over a weekend sometime this summer!

For hotels I guess it really depends on how important going out for drinks at the clubs/bars is now that you are 21. If that is something you really want to do then I say go for the Boardwalk. Not only is it close to Jellyrolls etc but it is an easy stumbling distance away from Epcot should you choose to sample some beverages in the World Showcase. Also in regards to food there is always Beaches and Cream across the way at Beach Club, not counter service but the prices are pretty good. The Swan and Dolphin are also right next door and may have some food options as well.

If you are more focused on wanting a nicely themed hotel, relaxation and food then I say go for AKL.

Hmm, Boardwalk or AKL... I've never stayed at either, but I've been to AKL... and I LOVED it! It's my goal to stay there someday!

But, I've heard Boardwalk is AMAZING!

Hmm....the hotel question is a tricky one. I'd probably pick the Boardwalk because it's close to the YC/BC and Epcot. Lots of CS places in that vicinity!

If you want to stay in the Boardwalk area, why don't you stay at the Yacht or Beach Club instead? It's the same price, you'd still be in that area but you'd get to use Stormalong Bay, Beaches & Cream is awesome, and the restaurants there (as far as I know) are better.

I should've known you'd try to sway me towards Beach Club! I do like it there...hmmm...thanks for making my decision that much harder!

My parents actually have a timeshare where they can use points for a DVC resort (not DVC though) and so my only options are a DVC resort. Tough life, right? I'm thinking Boardwalk is the clear winner though.

I love the "Come Dine With Me" idea!! That's really cute. That could be so fun. I will have to see if I can find some friends to do that with!! Your Glee-Fest sounds fun too!! You guys are going to have a great time when you do that!

Good morning all!! How was everyone's weekend?

Mine was pretty good!! I got to spend some time with my sweet little boy! I just love him. Stephanie is an art major and she works in a coffee shop and on Saturday night, she had an art show at the coffee shop she works! So Landon and I went to that and very much so enjoyed it. She's already sold 2 pieces and is excited for the extra Disney money! After that, her, Dustin, Dillan and I went over to Dustin's and watched TOY STORY!!!! TS3 comes out SO SOON so we're trying to watch them all! (P.S. Did I ever mention Dillan IS moving to FL and will probably be meeting us there for at least a portion of our time?) Then on Sunday morning, all the youth leaders and some high schoolers went and "kidnapped" all the incoming freshman! It was so fun! They do it every year and just go and wake them up, give them some crazy costumes to wear and take them all out to breakfast. My girls were princesses of course! So fun!!

Oh and it wasn't this weekend but this past Thursday night...I started taking ballroom dancing classes!! Mostly just because I'm a princess and I think princesses should know how to do that! They are every Thursday for the rest of June and my dance partner is actually Stephanie's brother!! It's so fun!! I love it so much and wish I had done it sooner!!

I would love to hear what you all did!!

There is not much to post for my DAY SIX plans! We have just a chill day. No adr's, no parks, nada. We are going to relax by the pool and go to DTD. Maybe even mini-golf or something. Nothing big though. And just a few cs meals. I'm actually quite excited for this day.

I REALLY like the name of the slide at the BW pool...the Keister Coaster!! I think I just like the word "keister". Such a good word! Better than most of its synonyms! (But badonkadonk is pretty good! ) However...I do agree that the clown at the end is super creepy looking. I think I could somehow get over it though. I'm going to go look at more pictures. I think that's the only thing to do in a situation like this.

Haha thanks!! Did you know that like all the Disney princesses dances are the Viennese waltz? It's like a super twirly waltz! I want to learn that one!! I just learned the normal one though.

I did like Maelstrom! I just wanted some Splash Mountian-esque drops. I'm an adrenline junkie and think scary drops would go great with the creepy feeling it has!!

No Starring Rolls for me........boo. Double boo now that I know they had a Butterfinger cupcake....that's my favorite candy bar.

AND I didn't make it to Sunshine Seasons so I can't help you on that, but I'm guessing Sunshine Seasons may be better....or maybe that's just because I really really do want to try it.

One other thing....Mike & Sulley had their own little Meet & Greet set up in front of Boo's door while we were there. It's hard for me to describe the place they were, though...it's close to some CS place I've never been to because I swear I've never seen it....but I think it's close to that Mermaid fountain...from the movie Splash...? know it? Hmmmm, I'll dig a map out of my stuff from this trip & see if it's on there. Boy I was a big help there, right?

You should look on my fb (because I always take so long to post them on here! ) but there are SUPER cute pics of him playing with his Toy Story toys (Buzz, Woody, and Rex) with his little faux hawk. They're some of my favorites. He was being a HAMM!!!! (haha...get it? Speaking of Hamm...Landon has recently starting to really enjoy putting coins in his piggy bank! It's football shaped though!)

OH MY GOSH is it the Buzz one with 3D googles where you go through a rocket ship? I saw that one at Target the other day. It's the coolest thing ever. I also saw a pool that had built in water guns and you could squirt down the little green aliens on the side! There was also a sweet castle one!! Man I wish I was a kid again! Or that we had a yard so I could get them all for Landon!!
