I can't believe you just saw the TS3 ad!! That's hilarious!! I work with youth group kids and so I end up going to a ton of movies, especially in 3-D so I always see all the trailers!! I get SO EXCITED every time!!

AHHHHH Toy Story is SO AMAZING!! That will be the perfect first movie trip for him!! I can't wait to take Landon to a movie for real! I used to take him all the time and he'd just sleep (his first one was "The Dark Knight" he slept through the whole thing!). Then he started to not want to sit still for that long...however the last movie I took him to, he sat through the whole thing and watched! It was Up!! Jake will love it though! I can't wait to hear about you taking him!!

I'm a closet Disney-channel-aholic (love me some Hannah, Wizards, Suite Life, Sonny, etc.) and I just love watching that channel all the more now because they show so much TS3 stuff, sneaks, talks with Tim Allen and Tom Hanks, etc. It's magical!!

They were annoucing it to the youth group and Dustin was like "We're going to see it whenever it comes out...mid-June I think" and I just yell out "IT COMES OUT JUNE 18TH!" and everyone starts laughing. Okay so FINALLY here is a picture of my son with his faux-hawk!

Doesn't he just melt your heart? Of course, my parents hate it! I love it though. I told them I was going to go buy him some temporary tattoos to go with it!! They weren't amused.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was mostly good. The only bad part was that my parents took Landon to California to meet his grandparents. I've missed him so much, but it looks like he's been having a ball and he comes home today! But I still had a good weekend! I went iceblocking on Friday (for those of you who don't know what it is...you go to King Soopers and buy a block of ice. Then you go to a hill, fold up a towel and place it upon the block of ice and then you ride it down the hill! It's SO FUN!!)

After that, I had about 5 girls spend the night and we all put on fancy dresses and took "princess" pictures. It was so fun. We would like leave a shoe a couple of steps down and take a picture of us running and leaving it a la Cinderella. We took pictures as we were about to bite into an apple, combing our hair with a "dinglehopper", looking into our reflection, on magic carpet rides, kissing frogs, etc. It was amazing!! All these girls are from youth group and so I was the oldest at my ripe ol' age of 20 and the next morning we went to ihop (where I was of course wearing my tiara) and I got chocolate chip pancakes and they laughed and told me I was the biggest child they knew!

After breakfast, I went to the zoo with my friend Laurelle! It was just so incredible!! I love the zoo!! The rest of the weekend I just had some much needed relaxation time! It was amazing!! What'd y'all do? Any fun plans for Memorial Day? I'm at work.

But we should take a moment and remember our troops. They are amazing. Let's especially remember the ones who gave their lives and be grateful for all they did for us. Let's pray for their families too! My heart just goes out to them. I know a ton of people in the military and I'm so eternally grateful that all of them are still alive...I just want to take a quick moment and give a shout out to them even though they'll never read this!! But THANK YOU Tyler, Thomas, Erik, Scott, Donnie, Jason, and Clinton!! I know you guys go through a lot and have made some good friends and seen them lose their lives fighting along side you...thank you for still fighting and giving up so much of your freedom so we can keep ours!!

If any of you have anything/anyone to add, I wouldn't mind you adding it!!

Switching gears, I also wanted to post some souvienir pics I wanted too!! I just think they're cute!!

Toy Story scrapbooking? I think YES!! I think that would be perfect especially considering my ptr!!

Toy Story football? I'm pretty sure Landon NEEDS this.

i love doing unusual stuff with my friends, we did a canvas party where the 5 best friends took turns drawing on each others canvas the things they felt represented that person...you didn't draw on your own, i got things to do with dancing, law (my degree) a rainbow for happiness etc is such a cool reminder of a brilliant night! maybe you could use that for a future theme?!

Quick Question about my 21st Birthday Trip!!!!!

I'm planning on going for 2 weeks and switching hotels halfway through. I already am set on where I want for the 2nd half. I'm TORN between which I want for the first half though.

I think the Boardwalk would be PERFECT for a 21st birthday. Plus, it's quite close to Jellyrolls and has a good atmosphere and all that. But...besides the nightlife, there isn't too much that makes me love it. The thing that especialy turns me off is the lack of counter services. There's really only the Boardwalk Bakery and I don't want that.

My other option is Animal Kingdom Lodge. I LOVE THE MARA!! Zebra domes. But the location is just a little further from everything. So I don't know what to do!!

Help me pick please!! I'm just torn because both "cons" in each resort are in all honesty pretty petty...BUT I just don't know which "flaw" is the most overlookable. Thanks guys!

For hotels I guess it really depends on how important going out for drinks at the clubs/bars is now that you are 21. If that is something you really want to do then I say go for the Boardwalk. Not only is it close to Jellyrolls etc but it is an easy stumbling distance away from Epcot should you choose to sample some beverages in the World Showcase. Also in regards to food there is always Beaches and Cream across the way at Beach Club, not counter service but the prices are pretty good. The Swan and Dolphin are also right next door and may have some food options as well.

If you are more focused on wanting a nicely themed hotel, relaxation and food then I say go for AKL.

Hmm, Boardwalk or AKL... I've never stayed at either, but I've been to AKL... and I LOVED it! It's my goal to stay there someday!

But, I've heard Boardwalk is AMAZING!

My vote goes to AKL, I just loved walking around there

Hmm....the hotel question is a tricky one. I'd probably pick the Boardwalk because it's close to the YC/BC and Epcot. Lots of CS places in that vicinity!

If you want to stay in the Boardwalk area, why don't you stay at the Yacht or Beach Club instead? It's the same price, you'd still be in that area but you'd get to use Stormalong Bay, Beaches & Cream is awesome, and the restaurants there (as far as I know) are better.
