I can't stay away from the Boards, even without a trip in the works!

Yes, it's true. I can't stay away from the Boards even though I'm not planning a trip right now. Am I pathetic? I just love dreaming about my next trip and reading about all about the possibilities. Anyone else out there like me??

Yup! I'm just like you. We got back in March. We had a wonderful time at POR. Did the 4 parks plus Sea World with the family including 2 little grandsons. On April 18, we bought into Saratoga Springs Resort through DVC. We now have a trip planned in September. These boards are awesome. I've learned so much through everyone.

Yep, that's me too! My BF thinks I'm crazy. We went last May and were thinking of going this May, but it's not going to work out so I am hoping to go the end of Aug, but nothing is finalized at all. (I am still talking him into it ) He thinks Disney to too expensive, blah blah However, if we do decide to go, the trip is practically planned. I am obsessed!

I started posting on here after I got back in March from POR because I missed it so much!! So no, you're not crazy!! I'm just waiting until I can plan a Disney trip for BF and I- he doesn't understand the magic and sometimes thinks I'm nuts but thinks it's really cute that I'm so into it. I think he imagines Disney as some place for only 9 year old kids!

sweetinmaine- that's awesome that you bought into SS!! My mom and I took a look at it since we are from Saratoga (I actually worked at the race track!) and I've lived there all my life (well, now live in Williamsburg for college and grad school). We're about 15 min from Saratoga and I have been going to the track since I was little so seeing SSR really made me feel home!! They even had an original print that we have in our family room at home!! so weird!!!!!! The pool there looks AWESOME, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time- I'm jealous

We've been to the races a few times ourselves. My SIL goes every year. We even know people who live there! We actually live a couple of hours north of there on the Vermont side of the lake. We haven't see the SSR resort but are very much looking forward to it in September.

We got back in Dec of 04 and I posted a few times and then I tried to stop. i said nope and thought about doing this to the boards. But then DW and I had our 1st annv..my how the year has flown by. We went to Disney twice . Once in April of 04 for our first time and our Disneymoon and then in Dec. It was good times. Both times on our last day I started to I didn't want to leave. Now both DW and I are 30. When I started to cry she started to. She said we will be back and she promised. So that is why I didn't really get back on the boards.

Well my dad has moved to FL about 2 hours away from Disney. I talked with DW and she said we could visit him. and then drive what was originally on my bday for a weekend fun time. Well my disney brain started thinking....What if we go earlier in the week and maybe just maybe we could stay longer. So when you wish upon a star....We are now leaving on a Sunday and visiting my dad for 2 days and 3 nights and then driving down very early on a Wedneaday to Disney for 6 days.

So back to the boards I come. All I have to say is
